TP199 has the most talent on a dirt bike. He might actually be the most all around talented person in the world.

YES. Look at all the aspects of 2 wheeled competition he's done. I'm surprised he never road raced.

I think he is talking about former downhill rider now mtb enduro rider Sam Hill not Josh or Justin Hill. Even though those two are supremely talented

Two pages and no one has mention Ricky Carmichael.

This guy gets my vote.
I’ll never forget being at Kenworthys in Troy, Ohio back in 2004 when he was dragging footpeg scrubbing over the tunnle jump. I was 12 years old at the time and that image has benne burned in my head ever since. I had always been a Kawasaki fan since I was little and watched Fro ride one I had liked Stewart. But seeing him in person for the first time was just unreal. Even watching him the last few years he did race was still just as crazy what he could do. Legend for sure!!

If the thread title was who is the gnarliest, most fearless or most successful rider he would be in most people's top 3 or even first mention. When it comes to raw talent Ricky was clearly not on the same level as Reynard, McGrath, Whindam or Stewart.

With that said Ricky's ability to win on the AMA circuit was second to none. Talent certainly played a big part in this but ultimately it was his competitive spirit, work ethic and mental fortitude that played the bigger part in his success.

Tripes, Dogger, JMB, Reynard, Windham, TP, Stewart, Roczen.

Josh Grant I always thought had loads of natural ability and is rarely ever brought up.

That's for AMA only, so no one gets in a tizzy.

TRAVIS PASTRANA.

End of conversation. Won at least one championship in SX and MX. Pioneered freestyle mx to a higher platform at a teen age. Won MXON. Holds multiple world records for freestyle related tricks (from the nitro circus episode). Can back flip almost any vehicle with wheels. First to do a double back flip, first to do a cork 720 and a double cork 1080 on a dirt bike. He just broke Evel's records on a street bike. Has had unbelievable whoop speed (only rivaled maybe by the Stewart bros.) I'm sure there is more, as I think he has completed the erzberg enduro at least once. That's just off the top of my head, and that's just on 2 wheels.

Cru Jones is the mostest baddest bike rider ever of all time. First backflip in competition. Dance scene. Change my mind...

Dick Mann has raced every type of motorcycle racing and excelled at all. Malcolm Smith is right there also along with Larry Roeseler.
