I wouldn’t have complained about using the same physics and everything as the MES game, but using the MXGP tracks.

man you moto gamers are something else. finally, moto games are really starting to require skill and no one wants to put the time in. the game isn’t “inconsistent”.....you’re just not very good. if you don’t want to crash in turns..try leaning forward while using throttle control. being in a higher gear helps too. the game is great

The game IS great. I was racing at Leon earlier, and I was battling with the he track as much as I was with the AI. I couldn’t just gas it and go, I really had to think about the track, and was just trying to stay upright on the final lap to finish 9th. It was so much more satisfying than just racing around a sterile track.

Not very good? LMAAAOOO. Go look at my lap times on all of the MXGP games or MES. Hell, I’m right up there already on MXGP pro. It’s not me, I can assure you.

I was just pointing out that you can hit the exact line two laps in a row, same speed, same jump, and you’ll crash on one lap and not on the next.

Just wanna point out that I'm in the same boat as you, and that you need more time playing because I'm not having any consistentcy issues setting heaters lol on Xbox 1 if that matters. OJing does seem a little inconsistent, but as far as corners, you're doing something wrong

This type of lag has been around for a while and has gotten worse with gp pro. On your screen the player will appear on your left, but on his screen youll actually be on his left. It's not as bad with 3-5 players in a lobby. When it happens let off

I have never seen more complaining about a game in my life. If you’re sliding out in corners too much, or going into a turn and tipping over, you need to adjust the suspension because you are on PRO PHYSICS.

It also helps to, ya know, put some actual time in to learn because there is an adjustment period. We all wanted more of a challenge, and now we get it, and all I see is people whining that they aren’t good enough and actually can make mistakes and crash which is what happens in real motocross. Why should you be able to spin lap after lap and win in dominating fashion every time? How fun is that?

I think the game is fantastic. Yeah, it has a few minor bugs, but nothing that’s going to stop me from playing it. Easily best moto game I’ve played and I’ve had them all since mx 2002 with RC. And no I couldn’t care less about the scrubs. Such a stupidly small part of any moto game.

When I'm actually able to keep the bike upright I really enjoy the game, but like others have mentioned, I just seem to randomly crash and really don't know why. I started a career on extreme and on Losail there are a couple of different places where I feel like I hit everything right but still tend to crash.

I do think the physics and feel of the game are really good, I just can't get the random crashes figured out. Also, do we really have to run the bikes with the stupid ass full bike graphics in career mode? My God, that is just an incredibly stupid idea that I was hoping would not make it into this game.

Loving this game so far! I have the MXGP collection, MES, Allout, etc, etc. My moto-game obsession started with Motocross Madness on PC.

This seems like another step up from MES to me(which I love). I'm struggling at first like most with the Pro physics, but currently loving the Semi-Pro physics(not a fan of the default rear brake button mapping-can this be changed?).

Can't wait to burn more laps on this one.

the gameplay looks like shit, the graphics are beautiful, get it? looks like MES part 2.

nah, i'll save my money. i gave them my money the last 4 times hoping for something improved.

but one thing we can count on is another rehash in 6 months. enjoy your polished turd.

Believe me man, the corners actually aren’t that bad. Took a race or two to get used to, but My gripe is just with the random potholes or walls that cause you to crash, or the OJing. I don’t need more playing time hahahaha. I could probably smoke any one on this forum.

lol. touché touché

although i would argue that is using the front brake lol, good one. i think a lot of players are used to the “lean back everywhere” days of moto games. i played the game for a half hour and, as many, kept sliding out. i started leaning forward and it stopped. lol. and in relation to the overjump crashing....if you guys remeber doing the training portion of the game where you have to land correctly, you’ll remeber theres a very low threshold during that training for landing “properly”. you basically have to land perfect with both wheels touching the ground at the same time. not saying that’s correct or real, but i think that’s what the game wants you to do

for the first time ever i can relate to flatout....i’m enjoying racing the ai more then i ever have. and the roughness on a couple of the tracks i played was super refreshing

I’m in the same boat as you craig. Anyone defending the game saying it doesn’t need any “fine tuning” is an ignorant bafoon. I think it’s almost a great game. Almost. Obviously the forced sponsor thing in career mode is dumb. The random walls/crashes that happen when you’re hauling ass and it’s like you just catapult off your bike. and the MAJOR thing that needs to be tuned is the OJing.

When you hit the same jump at the same spots and the same speeds, and fall every other time on the landing, it’s a consistency problem that needs to be worked out. I’ll still keep playing it, it’s a fun game, that just needs some issues worked out that’s all. It’s literally just values in the code that need to be changed so that the threshold for how far you can jump can be more realistic and consistent.

Oh man, there’s a few tracks that are actually gnarly and super fun to play on, Leon comes to mind, and lommel also.

Has anyone had problems with audio? The bike revving is totally laggy and pretty much useless. I’d be better off just muting the TV lol.

Couldn’t agree more! I am pumped a new moto game came out but I think they took a step backward on this one. The career mode where you can’t modify you’re bike is terrible, constantly crashing whether it’s in a corner for no reason or landing on a jump, can’t ride a factory bike AGAIN, horrible issued graphics they give you. I still will play it but a few steps back IMO.....

I love the "you dont like the game? You must suck at it." I've heard better smack talk when i was in elementary school. Some of you guys act like children on here.

The game needs help. Yea we all asked for more difficulty in games but me specifically, I was asking for a tougher AI. Not shitting physics that make it harder to not crash. For the majority of the cornering and in air physics, it reacts nothing like real life. I literally have raced since I was 4 years old, and was at the level of racing a lot of now-pro guys. I think I know how the shit reacts in real life.

And why are we forced to learn a whole new way of physics with every new title? I feel like the milestone and nordic dont just build off of what they once had. Me personally, I think mxgp 3 felt the nicest as far as being able to rail corners and have somewhat of ruts and lines. But, that's just my opinion.

Regardless, I'm learning the game. I'm really loving the career mode and the competition in the AI. They are tough to beat. And the top real life guys are there on top in the game every week. Making the points race fun.

There are some tracks like leon and lommel that have the gnarly terrain. I love what they did with some of them. And now you see our side. It's a lot more fun when the AI is fun! Haha.

As far as landing correctly with both tires on the ground at the same time, I can see the reasoning behind that. Although in real life most of the time landing with the front end a hair higher is good but in the game hurts your flow. If they build off this system instead of trying to reinvent themselves once again with the next game, it could be a hell of a lot of fun.

I have zero issue paying 60 bucks a year or whatever for a game with updated previous year rosters, new bikes, a few updated tracks, teams and subtle improvements from Milestone. Heck, I spent over 200 on the garbage that was MVA Supercross/Encore and hell, I don't even have the game any more.

I'm thankful to Milestone for what they do. Some may enjoy All Out and I admit I like the physics but I seriously never play it because it's honestly just a p vs p game and I just want a deeper experience in a full season mode that actually makes sense and recreates the real series.

But hey, to each his own. I'm just glad we're getting new MX games frequently now!!

I finally get to play Pro tomorrow!!

The only thing my group of friends want out of this game, and every moto game, is realistic gravity - or at least an option for it. I don’t need to be floating in the air for 5 seconds over a triple jump.

That said, I still applaud Milestone for continuing to make these games. I just wish they would take into consideration the customer’s feedback a little more often.

I’m just saying the game is glitchy for me. I’m on a day one Xbox one edition, so I’m not sure if that helps the cause. Even MES was glitchy but like I said my console is the release edition.

And I can promise you I have more lap times in the top 50 on all the MXGP games and MES than you. And more playing time for that matter. Get outta here.

Just needed to fix the tracks and AI which is what they've seemed to do with this game.. but changed the physics haha

Oh well I'm still enjoying it! Still confused by some things.. not being able to update my bike in career for one thing, like what reason could they have for that? And again with the sponsor graphics, they patched it in one game to then just leave it in the next? Weird!

Great game, but it is also one of the most frustrating things ever that I can't modify my bike in career mode or get a factory contract. Everybody else has these badass graphics and jerseys and I'm stuck with horrible sponsors and plain jerseys. Everybody complained about this with MES did they really think the same people wouldn't buy this game?
