I didn't really hear any boos for Marv at Glen Helen. People definitely cheered louder for Barcia and Tomac, but maybe I missed the boos, too.

I think most people just lost respect for the dude because he doesn't own up to some of his bone head actions. I love good battles with him and ET3.

Find me anyone that truly hates Kevin Windham, guy was really cool off track. Bob Hannah some loved him some hated him.

Remember how people booed Reed for a few weeks after he blocked Dungey last year in SX? Reed might be one of the most liked riders of all time but he did something to piss the fans off. It had nothing to do with him being Australian.

It's fine to disagree with the booing of Marv, but don't pull the race card. It's super played out.

I think it's a combination of the fact that he's not "alpha" in his personality, he's a little more meek/shy, that he ran it in on USA's star rider, plus being French. Otherwise 90% of those insults wouldn't be calling him a French *** or saying go back to France. Roczen seems to fit in much better, being more of an assertive personality, and he has all but lost his accent. Ferrandis chugging a PBR after his moto win probably won everyone that saw over Cool

Doesn't this hating French riders go all the way back to Jean Michel Bayle ? He was booed heavily everywhere and he was hated. Also does some of this hatred come from the French not supporting US military in Iraq several years back ? I recall a severe hatred of France over that. Getting beat by France in the MXON might have something to do with it too ?
