No - they will not bring back their 250 MX bike, no matter how much some of us like 2 strokes, please don't let them.

AMF ???? Hold A Grudge Much? I had a 1995 CR250 that the Crank Grenedaded 1 hour into ownership and Yet I own a 2018 CRF today Smile Smile
No grudge, but I am OK with AMF not making Harley MX bikes again.

The one I had was not new and it had constant multiple issues.

I also had a 95 and a few 96 CR250's all great bikes. Not sure what this has to do with the AMF Harley...

Seriously? No one have a connection to one motorcycle manufacturer leaderboard in the country?
Maybe I'm spoiled, because Estonia is a such small country, that everybody knows everybody. I'm definitely know every moto brand dealer in person, and at least 75% of them are buddys of mine.

I think knowing someone who owns a dealership in Estonia is a bit different than knowing a CEO of a $6 Billion company...

Idk man, did you check their investors page on their website? http://investor.harley-davidson.com/resources/investor-contacts

Gotta love a bunch of inbred retards who *claim" to dig motorcycles ragging on one of the oldest and most legendary brands on two wheels. I dont care for those V-twin things personally, but I dig motorcycles of all kinds and appreciate every company out there who take a risk to keep bikes alive.

Been on two wheels for well over 45 years now, but never cease to be surprised at the type of knuckle dragging simpletons this sport attracts. smh

Screw the haters, this is what legendary looks like. 100% American history on two wheels.

If someone here did happen to know a HD board member, why would they simply pass on that contact info on the interweb to someone that they don't know, have never met, and lives half way around the world from them?

And yes, the scale of your backyard is pretty small overall. Estonia is about a quarter the size of our little state, and there are probably a few Washingtonians on here who know every dealer in their area also, I'm just not one of them.....

Bro, we have lunch every week! You're not gonna find someone on the forum that has those level of contacts and number two, they're not going to just post the email address on here if they did have it...

"Hey Jim, this dude on the internet wanted to chat with you so I posted your email. Something about wanting Harley to make a two-stroke, or motocross bikes...or something...I don't know, but he wanted to talk to you."

Where is your sense of fun?

Step 1: Tell OP that you know the CEO and will pass along his phone #.
Step 2: Receive OP's phone #
Step 3: Post thread on another board asking for members to prank call the OP claiming to be the Harley-Davidson CEO
Step 4: Sit back and enjoy Laughing

It is completely vitarded to think you're going to be able to contact the CEO of a major international corporation via email.

I worked for Harley at one point, actually the tipping point. It seems like they would have been better off leaving that old mystique to the name by not building as many units and having a waiting list like they did in mid to late '90s. Once they got greedy and started producing enough bikes for every swinging dick with two legs it kinda started going downhill.

If you ride a harley you must really love that image, i have ridden several harleys and metric cruisers and they aren't enjoyable at all. People ride for different things

This, although I would have said it a little nicer haha. For the most part, the only way you’re going to be able to make your point at the CEO level is to start at a lower level and convince them it should be pushed up the chain. Tough task. Why do you need visibility at the CEO level? There’s a good chance someone below him has the power to make the decision you’re trying to influence.

Sorry, but I thought that Vital is a forum where all the members are insiders, at least reading the posts. That means I was scammed the last seven years.
I dont'n want to somebody post the CEO's email in publik. Read the original post. If you have any connections, shoot them to my pm.

The major difference here is that Matt Levatich doesn't show up to Glen Helen on Tuesday afternoons.

I had something similar happen to me when I was working on a mid 1970's trials bike.

I was having trouble getting it to run. I am fiddling with the jets, the throttle cable, and the fuel supply, and I just cannot figure it out.

I am tinkering away, fiddle with this, fiddle with that, and suddenly, the thing fires up! At about 7,000 rpms!

HOLY SHIT! How do I kill this thing? I hit the kill switch, nothing.

HOLY SHIT! This thing is going to melt down! What do I do?

So I slapped it into first gear, and dropped the clutch. That ought to kill it.

Yeah. Not quite. Those things happen to be geared pretty low.

That thing jumped out from underneath me, and spun about five "Broadies" underneath my workbench until something happened to kill it.

It had to have been hilarious to see. All the sudden that thing started, revving to the moon, spinning in circles, and I have no clue on how to stop it....

This sport attracts the type of people that refer to others as "inbred retards" over playful words typed on the internet.

Good point. Perhaps we can get Gibby to setup a Safe-Space forum so the more fragile minds can recover from the caustic ramblings of old Motodrive rejects like yours truly.

90% of the hate towards harley davidson is because of the culture of harley riders. Not the bikes themselves. The bikes themselves functionality wise are great. A majority of the riders are not.
