I got some GoPro I could post tonight. Had to convince the mx sports dude it was a garmin to let me run it
Marty1028 wrote:
why did you have to convince it was a garmin?
Garmin has the exclusive helmet cam deal for outdoors now (it used to be GoPro...still GoPro only in Supercross). This goes further as footage of the track from a race weekend is under the exclusive rights of NBC/MAV...and with this the only rights NBC has given is to Garmin to film on the track action. So finally, the only POV camera a rider is allowed to use on track is a Garmin product.

And you call me Bozo?
Update 10:30pm: I found the results listed on RacerX’s site. There is a menu type button that you can click on in the upper right corner of their mobile site. I scrolled down and there it was.

Maybe they were focused on the four moto's that meant something. Maybe they are out to silence the 2 stroke Taliban.
Maybe they just don't give a rats ass. I have no idea, but if it means so much to you that it is covered, start a website or a podcast, get you a press pass and travel to the 4 remaining 125 "All Star" events and cover them the way that you think they should be covered.

This mentality on Vital of “go do it yourself” is so bizarre. it’s a forum where people provide info, opinions, and feedback. When you have poor service at a restaurant or your bike shop, or anywhere else offline, do you provide feedback or go open your own business?

But was any sort of coverage promised or even mentioned? You wouldn't go into a restaurant and complain about not getting something that they never mentioned they would get for you.

I just want to go on record as saying I'm interested in 125 coverage. Advertisers can count on at least one set of eyeballs, right here.

With zero coverage ,it will remain full of people that nobody has heard of.

Curious to know how many of you were following up on the WMX when it was ran alongside the pro nationals? I dont recall the WMX getting a ton of coverage, and I dont recall the forums losing their minds over the lack of coverage.

And before I go. KTM/Husky 8 out of top twenty.
How many in the top 5? Cool

I don't recall the WMX series being full of 2 strokes. I don't care what gender the operators are as long as there's premix in the air...

Haha...you did see Chase weigh in and let us know he was on a KTM and they had it listed as a Yamaha. More conspiracies Smile He got 4th, so two outta 5. Yamaha’s seem to do pretty well although you could have put Wil on any brand and t would have won

I rode a KTM as well. I think MXA had a mess up because I rode a Yamaha last year. Also to note, Matt Burris who placed third was riding a 2004 era KTM, I thought that was cool!
Matt Burris finished top 20 in a few races back in 04/05. We all know about Tucker Saye riding the nationals a few years back with Derek Anderson. Tucker is currently kicking butt at the local races on an Alta. Bryce Shondeck is a fast local pro along with Devin Brassfield, Samantha Peters and Martin Steve (Steve Martin).

as sad as it is, and as much as the owners of this site don't want to admit, the reason that the KTM 50cc SX gets more coverage is because of $$$$. KTM is paying a mint for that coverage. Who is going to pay for 125cc coverage? A whole bunch of NOBODY.

Side show to the actual races, I see no difference in 125s and wmx, not the premier series and receives less coverage

You are right. That would be unfair. What I would do is make a suggestion to the reassurance that I’m interested in a new menu item. May even suggest it a few times in a row. At some point thoug, I’m gonna go to wherever I can find what I’m looking for. It’s their choice to listen to feedback from customers or not. And honestly, a better analogy would be if they announce a new homemade menu item for the summer, but then when you come in to eat, they don’t serve it cuz their food distributor told them not to serve anything homemade or else they’d end the business relationship.

A bit off from my overal point about how some Vitards choose to response but IMO, when all the sites and MX Sports creates some hype and spends time to announce this “series”, there’s a certain level of coverage expected. And let’s be real, we are asking for the most basic level of coverage one can provide...results. It was understandable to not get day of results when it was Joey L and the 125 Dream Race but this is put on by the owners of biggest moto media company. Past champions are racing on sick bikes. Up and coming kids are ripping and making a name for themselves. The lack of timely results is simply bizarre. They obviously realize the attraction that is the 125 races otherwise they wouldn’t bother including it (which is a big task to take on), so why is there no coverage?

Why is it with today's connected society that not even one hard core 2 stroke fan isn't giving live updates, photo's and results ?

Back in the Motonews day's we all emailed and used AOL instant messenger to get info out there.

Hell you can even do FB live if that's your deal.

I can only guess that few in attendance if any actually care about this 4 lap exhibition

You do a LOT of “assuming”

But I’ll admit, you have a couple good points. I guess you’ve essentially answered your own questions ??

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that MX Sports' "excuse" is that they have bigger fish to fry trying to get two 250 motos and two 450 motos to run on time so they don't screw up their LIVE TV schedule.

As much as I enjoy watching the 125 races, they're nothing more than an opening act for the real show.

You want coverage?? Here's the best out there!! Props to Cameron Niemela for this. I'm a huge fan of Cameron's YouTube channel... If you aren't a know it all moto mechanic but are interested in learning all kinds of useful tips and tricks, check his videos out. Very well put together, and killer content

Weren't the WMX races streamed online? Maybe not both moto's but at least one?

Pretty certain I've seen WMX races online the same day the pro's were racing.
