Who watches rap videos?
Who watches wheelie boy videos?
Who follows these dudes on Instagram and likes their posts?
Who wears supreme? (Outside of 30+y.o. dudes trying to stay relevant)
The youth.
Who are most influenced by the media?
Who tries new hobbies?
Who can convince their parents to go out and get them a new yz65?
The youth.
Supreme is an expensive street wear brand that is marketed towards young kids under 30. The same kids that wear supreme and “fck wit da wheelie boyz” are the same rich kids that can convince their parents, save up some cash to buy used, or take out their first loan to go out and buy a dirtbike.
Fashion trends involving a “cool” sport will always bring money into that market.
I remember when freestyle was the coolest thing. I was about 9 years old and got an 02 xr100 that I stickered the shit out of and rode in some camo cargo pants and a Metal Mulisha T-shirt thinking I was the shit. I would hit the same jump and berm over and over for hours.
Dirtbikes are becoming COOL again.
If that means having to deal with some little shit hopping on and off the track doing a corner and a jump like they’re SLAY while the rest of the track isn’t getting broken in on a practice day. So be it.
Maybe there will be another track opening up down the street.

I personally just think it’s not a wise move on Fox’s part; moto is already a pretty niche market, why risk your good-standing with your core demographic just to try to pick up an even smaller group of consumers that glorify illegal streetriding? It just doesn’t seem worth it to me, from a business standpoint.
Never ending bitching on this forum that we attract no outside sponsors.
Never ending bitching on this forum when any "MX" company "makes it big" and reaches out to a non-moto company to expand their customer base. Then calls them sellouts.
I'd like to live in this fantasy world where the employees (Professional MX athletes in this example) make tons of money and the employer (the general MX industry in this example) does whatever they can to not expand their customer base beyond the tiny MX community. In other words, cap their potential cash flow to MX only customers.
Keep it core bro! Everyone will get rich! Not!
Pit Row
I think it’s an interesting collab. I remember Supreme from my old skating days back in the late 90s early 2000s. It’s cool to see how extremely popular that little skateboard company is now.
As for the wheelie boyz thing I get it. Being a “rebel” and a “gangster” has always been cool in pop culture. From all the old mob movies and gangta rap to the Wheelie Boyz today. There’s a reason why they were picked to market this stuff and not Mr. Wheaties Box himself.
Much like Pete Fox’s IG post regarding the supreme product, I’m sure this thread will disappear too.
I edit stuff all the time, especially things involving politics or topics that involve race. If you have a problem with that, I’m pretty sure you could find a forum that suits your tastes.
But BIG UPS to Fox on putting this deal together and trying to reach outside of the powersports market and are you ready for this...turning non enthusiasts into enthusiasts.
Old folks won’t get it, no matter how many times we explain what Supreme is.
How dare they.
Aside from recognizing this could be a great market for them to tap into, perhaps it's a chance for them to promote / help mold the positive people & aspects of this niche into something more respectful.
