Looked phenomenal on the 450. The combos he pulled before the sand section and the line thru the sand put marvin to shame

With the triple quad quad move that looked very js7 like.

Looks great, but also has no pressure of a championship. He rode really well at monster cup on the Ktm 350 also.

I said a couple years ago he would be a major player in the big boy class. So happy for JGR Suzuki, him, as well as my favorite rider Weston Peick. Future looking bright. Kick some ass boyz!!

I dont mean to sound like a prick, but how does someone that good at SX suck so bad at MX?

Other SX specialists like MC and 22 were still usually top 5 riders outdoors. I guess McElrath is kind of similar, though he hasnt been as hot in SX this year as he was last year in the regional SX.

And before some vitard brings it up, no I wouldnt do any better. i also dont make 6-7 figures riding a dirt bike either though.

Id say fitness/commitment. And he is pretty big for a 250 at 175 180 he says

Could look at it the other way as well. J-Mart doesn’t light the world on fire in sx.

My first thought Watching hill on the 450 was dam he looks really good in that thing. I'm guessing he will fade in the main just because being on a bigger bike and stuff but dam he looks good

I know k-dub won as an active 125 rider in the 250s, who else has done it? I think hill has an outsiders shot at that list.

It’s obvious the 2019 450 championship is his to lose.

In all seriousness, great showing, can’t to see him again next week.

Don't you guys remember how great he was on the KTM 450 at Monster Cup a few years ago?

He should not ride the 250 again after supercross season.

They blamed the crash on Hill but I think Marv knew what he was doing there.

Well ill be tye FIRST to say i was totally wrong about his potential to be a front runner straight out of the gate and ill bet there are more than a few 450 teams at the moment kicking themselves for not picking him up when he initially started shopping around for a 450 ride....i was skeptical on his confidence in being able to do THAT well on a 450 while itll take a few showings to prove hes the real deal BUT i was and am totally wrong on thinking he was gonna be THIS GOOD and most of the vitalmx brain trust were 100% correct and i thought he could muster a 5th-10th place w/o any crashes that wouldve been a surprising first 450 race/ride to me.
