You guys that say its easy, you must be serious gamers. I never play games, havent turned on the XBox in about 6 months and it took forever to update itself. I am slow, I can barely keep from getting lapped, but I get 22 place every time at A1. First corner is always a big stutter fest and freeze on XBox One, but it doesnt crash, just stutters, pauses and then catches up. First few corners are also jittery, and then it clears up.

Playing in PS4. Super glitchy so far. Nationality changed in career mode. Then constantly scrolling but can't actually start a race or get out of that menu unless I restart the game. Super lame so far.

Initial impressions are not great for me. Only played a couple races. Menu system is garbage. Can't run my own graphic kit? Can't quit a season after starting? AI is horrible. Game is super buggy, definitely not ready for release. My graphics are popping in and out too. Most of the guys gear isn't even in focus until the gate drops.

Will wait to form a true opinion, but man, talk about a rough starting day.

The fact that you can't sign with official teams and you have to run the butt ugly sponsor kits really hurt the game. Lapping the field twice in a race in the hardest setting kinda blows as well.

Other than that I'm loving it.

Something about this game isn't quite doing it for me. I think what MX vs ATV does right is that satisfying feeling you get when you nail a tricky rhythm combination. The tracks in this game aren't quite as engaging.

I'm liking it a lot so far, but what the fuck is the deal with shifting? Why do I have to hit the front brake to put the bike in first gear? I still can't figure out how to start properly because of that.

Well the career mode just screwed me. As I tried loading Salt Lake City in my 250 West career it popped up with a message saying corrupted save data. I had to restart the game and while my stats are all correct, my career save is gone. I have to start all over...

I’m on PS4, btw

This wait is brutal. Just picked up a Xbox one x, waiting on the updates then I'll be waiting on the MES update/patch. I just wanna glitch out and land on people right meow!

You don’t have to hit the front break. At the start leave it in neutral, rev the bike and just shift to first when the gate drops.

You have to shift into gear as the gate drops? Seriously?

I feel like the gameplay itself is solid, but the AI is horrendous. Also, I just ran a 250 west race and some fake guy got second. Could they not make the fake guys slower?

10 hour day in the studio doing drum tracks finally over. No one has wanted this game more than me but I'm late to the party. But that's ok. On the way home and can't wait to fire this baby up!!!

Holy cow!! I just did some 12 people online races and it was allot of fun, but wow the tuff blocks are out off controll. These things where flying everywhere! They might need to put some track workers out there lol...

Love the game. The only thing that bugs me is the AI.
They seem to be a lot faster in qualifying then get in to the race and don’t even try triples. Once they and if they make the AI a lot quicker the game will be awesome.

Im playing it now and installed all the updates first. First impressions are not so good from me. Buggy and very glitchy. Sometimes the camera glitches if im bunched up with other riders. FPS drops occasionally. AI is stupid as hell. I havent played online or made tracks yet. Feels kind of unfinished imo. I hope they fix the bugs, I do like it.

I got it as well. I was able to quit the game and open it back up with no further issues, that's not to say it couldn't happen again; or worse.

Honestly, I’m trying to give this game a chance, but it’s incredibly buggy, save issues, sound issues, menu issues. This is a horrendous launch. The games physics that they’ve been saying are “better” are still incredibly stiff and awkward, rhythms when you land don’t help your momentum at all. I just don’t really have a whole lot of nice things to say. They game is absolutely stunning visually, but I don’t understand how they couldn’t get these tracks to look like the real tracks. Some triples seem like actual triples, others seem like three footers in a rhythm section. Also, why are these supercross tracks ripped 3 feet deep?

You need to land with the throttle wide open and be in a low gear. I ride most of the tracks in second gear on a 250f. Manual transmission is a necessity in my opinion. Also play in first person view if you aren’t already. Those things transform the game.

I’m having issues with it being glitchy and buggy, especially in first corner.. at 1 point I thought the game had frozen. (It was jammed that long).
Hopefully they fix it up.
I’m looking forward to getting a bit better and playing online. (Xbox)

Alright I need help with something. I purchased the season pass which cost me $20 CAD and when I started the game I didn't see it install. All that installed was the game and the extra gear I got with the code that was in the game box.

I went back to the PSN store and it shows that I purchased it. In the game I went to where it says extras and the season pass is the only thing that isn't listed for purchase.

How the fuck do I install my season pass? Better not have wasted $20 extra bucks.

As above stretching out 2nd gear on the 250f really helps with some obstacles. Ignore the rev limiter (sound), and just stick with 2nd gear a bit longer than the audio que would suggest.

Once you get in a rhythm with the game it's really enjoyable imo. 4 wins in the 250f East championship after 4 races, but a couple of them were really tight and felt like I had to work for it. The balance was perfect in 2 of the races, but a little bit too easy in the other 2. Atlanta was too easy whilst Toronto was perfectly balanced for me.

Wtf the fark are you smoking. the rider face profiles look like something from a ps1 game.

Honestly mxgp3 blows this game out of the water. Its sad because I dont think casual fans would play this game longer than a few days
