I was off today and played MESX most of the day as I'm super excited for 2. Y'know, people always talk junk on Milestone's air physics but I swear I think they are pretty good. Nothing is crazy exaggerated (in distance or height), and when you pull back at the face of a jump to huck it really feels right. It just feels tuned about right with nothing too crazy. That’s why I buy every MX game that comes out. If they don’t sell they don’t make sequels. Each new release should get better. I like certain things better about each franchise and each can take notes from the others strong points. In return we get even better games.

One thing I hope all the MX gamers here will consider. This is important, fellas. I know some are asking is the new MESX 2 worth buying? Are the improvements major enough? Well, please consider this. And this goes for both the Milestone MX/SX games as well as Rainbow's MVA games.I'll refer to Monster Energy Supercross 1 & 2 mainly as that is my preference, by far. We sure have been lucky with the amount of moto games that we’ve been getting lately. The young kids have no idea how good they got it. It sure beats growing up playing Excitebike non stop for hours on the old Nintendo. I remember doing lap after lap yet somehow never had a turn on the track. Looks like I’ve got another game I got to head over to Gamestop and put on preorder.

2/16/2018 5:54am Sadly, I can confirm that the switch version has slower AI than the other versions. I did this buying timing the AI in my version and comparing lap times to AI in the youtube videos. I still really like the game, but hopefully they are able to update the AI in all versions.

2/15/2018 2:44pm I hope this is the case! Do you have any evidence for this? I notice the AI struggle at the technical sections of each track. San Diego they are fast because that track is pretty easy. They really struggle at Salt Lake, (the 2 technical sections towards the end of the lap).
