Which one did you win Mav? Peelout was pretty fast too.
haha it's all good dude, I don't get mad I just get even lol. You and I were pretty much bar to bar all night on every track. All of us seemed very even in terms of speed but you and I seemed to always be fighting for position. That's when collisions ON makes it even more fun lol. If it's the last turn and we're fighting for the spot I'll take you out and I'd expect the same from you haha.

Is there a way to search an online track if you know the name of it on PS4? Can't seem to find a search function when I go to single event, online tracks. Not sure if this had been answered already. (Too many pages to go through)

I'm not sure if it's just me, but the AI kill me in the long sweeping corners. Especially the long sand section at Anaheim 1 that goes around a corner. After the finish line at Anaheim 2, the long sweeper, it seems like the AI have super abnormal speed. I utilize throttle control and feel like i'm going about as fast as I can without being pushed off the track, and they just shoot around me. Any tips or is this a glitch?

I'm assuming you're talking about the 450 AI? They're surprisingly fast in some areas and complete goons in other spots. Ever since the patch and they started scrubbing I've seen them scrub jumps and come up way short.

I noticed that too. I'll be sweeping as fast as I can trying not to go off track or hit the tuff blocks and I'll see one or two just go by hugging the inside corner.

Maybe the AI is just not well calibrated?
Sounds about like my experience. I've noticed in some of the long rhythm sections, they just can't do them. In Atlanta I can win by 40+ seconds in a 10 minute main. You go from A2 (which I think has the hardest AI) where you have to hit everything perfect every lap, to being able to screw off and win by 30 seconds easy. I do love it though on tracks like Daytona and A2 where you're thinking like they are in real life. You're just trying to keep in touch with the guy in front of you until you get to the section of the track where you know you can pass, being patient, and hitting all your marks. 20 minutes can seem like eternity if you're in the front or it can go by in the blink of an eye if you're trying to start from deep in the pack. I do love that aspect of it.

I've also noticed that it seems like there's no happy medium with the weather. I've gone through the whole series with a dry track at every out door round and There series I'm on now, it's rained literally every single time we were outside. This is in career mode. I'm doing 20 minute mains. On Round 14 so I'm praying it doesn't corrupt because this is when it usually does...

No, not yet unfortunately.. that’s one thing that’s been talked about in here. It really sucks and no one has time to go through 1200+ pages

Is there a way to race your created tracks without uploading for everyone? It seems like they will just be flooded with terrible tracks. My 5 year old loves making his own tracks. Unfortunately they are fun to exactly no one other than him. I'll usually let him do his thing, then name it "garbage" or something when I upload it so people don't waste their time playing it.

If you don't know the story behind the hashtag you clearly haven't been following this thread close enough and to whom it refers to.

I had a typo. BFD. English is my second language.

Wow. Now I have to blank myself? How would I go about doing that?

I was honestly curious, I thought you misspelled it on purpose, and you were making fun of something. Or, maybe you were making fun of the MES game. I get the impression you don't like MES much, yet you're constantly posting on it. So do you like it? I haven't spent a ton of time in the game, but so far I think it's great. And, if you compare it to all the other MX/SX games we've had, it is more authentic at capturing SX. Sure, there are some issues, but what past MX game didn't have issues, specifically online. They all had issues! Again, not an excuse, all games released to the public should work as advertised, but few do.

I couldn't care less if you spelled something wrong. Yes, I've been following this thread, but don't have multiple hours to read every post on every single page.

I'm not sure. I haven't had a chance to check that yet. Go to single event, online tracks and hit R2(if on ps4) until you get to the My Tracks tab. I'll check tonight when I get the chance.

just a quick observation. I have not even bothered going online yet (from fear of everything i've read here, and previous experience with Milestones other MX games online).

But, the tuff block issue online sounds very very similar to what would happen in Untamed online. It's basically an issue of, well im guessing some sort of lag between servers and positioning of the different players on the track visually. In untamed, people would blow out corners full of tuff blocks without losing any momentum online. And when you had friends on, and they or you were the ones doing it, you had no idea yourself.

It actually seems like it happens some in single player too, especially with the big "square" blocks on the inside of some 180 turns, the collision mapping is way off and (atleast in first person) you may be visually way clear of them but still get caught up in an invisible wall.

After Untamed the crew from Rainbow added some weight and gravity/traction to the blocks as it was ridiculous in that game online. Look up some videos and i bet you it will be very similar to what u guys are experiencing online. What one person does simply doesnt register fast enough and his line takes out all the tuff blocks, were in his game he was perfectly smooth through the corner.

Food for thought.

I do like the game and play it almost everyday. Is it perfect, no but it's not bad. There's still a lot of issues that need to be fixed and things that in my opinion need to be added to make the user experience better and less frustrating.

The track editor is one of the biggest reasons why a lot of people bought the game but it needs work. They desperately need to add a search feature so that you can search for user created tracks. Personally I think they should also add a column/tabs for friend tracks. For example I created the Vital MX community on PS4. Why? Because the guys that post on here have a passion for MX/SX and playing with them is a lot more enjoyable. I know they won't create a bunch of shitty tracks and they'll be more on the realistic side of things yet there's no way for me to play any of them without scrolling through 2000+ tracks/pages which takes a tremendous amount of time. I don't race any of the online tracks for that specific reason.

As for the #Authenticity bit it's just us guys poking fun at Flatout since he's probably dropped that word or different variations of it in what seems like everyone of his posts since the thread started. He knows it and doesn't take it personally. It's all in good fun.

Unfortunately no. You'll have to validate your tracks if you want to race on them. If you just want to run laps alone that can be done but it's not exactly fun. For that you just have to select track editor, local tracks, choose one of your created track to "edit" and press the square button to try it out.

Just upload them and then when you want to choose a track select online tracks, click the R1 button and your tracks will be listed.

Who cares if people waste their time playing your kid's track. I'm sure you already wasted your time playing random tracks from other user's.

I know you are a offline gamer and that you like authenticity so I am curious on the things that you want improved for the next version.

I tend to agree with you on most of the things we want out of an official supercross game. Though I think you said before you like to be in zoomed close to the rider. I actually wish there was a setting for a further view, both Alive and Supercross 2000 you could get a distant 3rd person view.

Xbox. Constantly being disconnected. Getting disconnected mid race. Most times can’t get a race at all. A lot of times can’t get to custom tracks. Just spent almost an hour trying to find one online race.
