You'd be surprised the damage that can be done to a bike that goes flipping off into the distance...

"Good frame"

Yeah sure, the steering head is just offset a few centimeters back.

Yes, I hit another bike head on when the other ride broke into a private track. I was in the air when I first saw him maybe 1/2 sec before impact. My forks were bent back to the left hand side foot peg. It knocked me out cold and they took him to the hospital. His bike was in 2 pieces.

My dad once had a guy ram into his bike from behind in a corner. It sent the bike flying out from under him and totaled the subframe, carbon muffler, bills pipe, new rear wheel, swingarm, brake disk and caliper, airbox, bars, FC clamps, rear fender, and a lever.

Frame was probably bent a bit too but didn't bother even measuring it because after the price of everything else we weren't gonna change it.

And yea, it happened during practice.

Had a guy on an old CB Honda doing about 110 run into the back of my wife who was doing 30. That's about what his bike looked like. He didn't look much better face down 75 yards away.

That's really gnarly. I've never seen forks bent that bad before.

Agreed. More ideas of vise placement of pictures of a vise the better. Although, I disagree with the placement in the above picture haha.
