I'm not saying he shouldn't be docked a position or 2, it was a dumb mistake. But I highly doubt he sat on the start gate and said to himself "I'm gonna cut this first turn if I get the chance." So no, I don't feel it was intentional. Just saying that you're getting a little worked up over an amateur making a bonehead mistake.

You gotta think though, If there had been actually some tuff blocks there how much time would it have cost him instead of just pinning it. He definitely wouldn't have gotten the holeshot, and probably not in the top 3. Seems like that is a clear advantage and exactly what the rules state against....

Should be docked for the act whether intentional or not. Just because he accidentally gained an advantage doesn't make it legit is all I'm saying.
