Honda makes sense to me because he should have data from the Two Two days to go by. Some of it should translate to a newer bike, right? He was pretty fast on the Honda IIRC.

The Two Two logo on a new gun is interesting, that's not a logo he's ever used personally that I've noticed. I'm sure it still exists despite there not being a team but the timing is interesting to put it on a gun instead of 22. Getting the band back together for a final long tour?

Last time Chad raced a Honda was 2013 when that generation of the bike was brand new. He's probably ridden more recent ones though.

I think what Randy is getting at is that he hasn't used the "Two Two Motorsports" logo outside of the team context, and now he has brand new toys engraved with it.

Had no reason to use it since he wasn't running his team and was employed elsewhere. Might be going at it alone again this upcoming SX season?

As for what he'll be riding, probably the manufacturer that gives him the most support.

I know Babbit's has been in the racing game for a long time on the AX side of things and have had a lot of success but a part from that don't know much about them.

Is it a big outfit? Multiple dealerships? What's the short story.

That's the implication he's pointing out. If Chad wasn't putting something "two two" related together, why would he be resurrecting the logo? It has never branded anything but the team.

Well in that case it's a little odd that it has the TwoTwo logo on it. Perhaps they just did one for him and put that logo on. Maybe they don't follow the sport that closely. New sponsor?

Single dealership with online parts and junk being the meal ticket. Owner has some old money but nothing exorbitant. Always surprised me they were able to fund ax like they have.
