WOHOOO !

What does Eli need to do to win the championship if he wins a moto is it all over ?

I agree Eli will be going for the championship but he's a racer and I wouldn't be surprised to see him go bar to bar with Herlings. Having said that Herlings could be 5th place easily just like he has been in MXGP. But how cool is it to finally see a top class MXGP guy mix it with the AMA.

There will always be moaners so let's ignore them and enjoy the race !
he's 30 points ahead so yeah, if he wins or gets second in a moto, it is over, no matter what he does in the other moto.
So if Marvin goes 1-1, he can go 2-DNF or something like 10-11

X2 on thinking it's awesome he's coming over to race. really respectable. you'll never see a top AMA guy go over for an MXGP just because they want to. i hope he gets great starts and doesn't have any weird issues.

In that case I don't see why he wouldn't want to win the race and wrap the championship up in the first moto. Like Kenny said in the booth last weekend his best bet is to ride to win not conserve as you make make just as many mistakes going slow as fast.

I'm no riding coach but I'm just hoping for a flat out Tomac.

Up 28 on Baggett, 30 on Marv. If he can be 25 up after first moto you'll see a fast Tomac in moto 2. Unless he has it in the bag I don't think you'll see Eli push 100% (nor should he). Great to see 84 coming to race!

Flat out Tomac in Budds moto 2 looked sooooo much more comfortable than moto 1 budds. Even with the goggle issue.

Will all the GP guys be pushing to win , down in FL if the championships aren't in the bag? I personally think he'll ride conservative in the first moto , wrap up the title , then go have fun and hammer in the 2nd moto. I then see him hammering in FL as well.

Technically he needs to be up 26. If ET scores no points in moto 2 while up 25 and Marv wins the moto and the overall then Musquin will be the champ on the tie breaker of overall wins.

Roger's revenge for the Tomac MXdN snub?

Herlings self-aggrandizing opportunity to upstage Tomac's AMA title pursuit? - This? If so, classless.

KTM collaboration... Never happened Whistling

Perhaps a little AMA "Band of Brothers" action?

I hope ET3 comes out swinging and grabs the "Red Bull" by the horns.

True.

Imagine if #84 was leading 2nd moto, Eli out for whatever reason and #25 in 2nd. would Roger make the call?? It does add to the possibilities. But if Eli clinches in moto 1 then moto 2 can be a pure race!

How about taking the opportunity to race because he wants to have a crack at racing those guys and give everyone a show? Why does there have to be sinister reason to it?

Regardless of how he does, it's awesome that he is having a go. It's been a while since someone off his calibre has done it

Cairoli No, Jonass and Seewer more than likely would but they wouldn't have the speed of the top AMA guys anyway.

I'm not being critical I just hope he does wrap it in moto 1 and go 100% in moto 2. Although he will probably wax Herlings if he is in form Tongue

RD had it easy, in 2015 SX. Both Stew & RV won almost all the races 2014. Then RD gets like 10 in 2015.

No production rules in Europe. I think the main difference is sound, and fuel rules. Between the 2 series. More strict in Europe, correct me if I am wrong?.
