I have my doubts. Team two two was an expensive venture, why would he want to go through that again.

Very few grab the golden ring the first time out in any business venture.
I'd think he learned a lot having his own team, and with time to think about what happened,
is probably more suited than anyone to see the big picture.
Where he went good, where he went not so good.

I'm hoping he does do his own thing, wish him the best of luck.

I thought he could have had more of a team last time, instead of just him.
The rig is going to the events anyway, why not give a few young guns some exposure.
I'm not saying put JLaw out there, but stir the pot up a bit. Get people talking.

Pulp Thursday Show from JT$... Not confirmed but trying to do something. I'd imagine his gear deal is/was a sticking point somewhere and he really wants to be on a steel frame or the Yellow bike.

I heard from a reliable source who heard from an even more reliable source (that's 2 layers of reliability), that James Stewart and Chad Reed are teaming up and will ride Hondas. Steve Matthes is slated to be team mechanic.

why his gear? i'd say him being a monster athlete creates more problems for a team that is heavyly sponsored by red bull.

For all the LOLing at a never-likely-to-happen Reed/Stewbert team....can you imagine the attention that would bring for sponsors? But therein lies the problem: Red Bull vs Monster; Fox vs Seven. Solution: big money team sponsors, but the riders keep their (big money) personal sponsors. Hell, get RC back in the game as a team owner; dude is apparently out of a gig at the moment.

I dunno.......I understand the gun shy attitude many have because of the way stew milked it.

But, Reed seems to want to stay on the game.

And, he did pretty good with Discount Tire as the main money the first time.
Heck, I'd love to see him go for Tide Laundry detergent or Levi's jeans I'd he could.
Get some fresh blood outside the industry.
Problem is, 50,000 customers at best is nothing compared to what a Lava Hand Soad company needs in sales vs sponsor money.

Larocco is out of work, grab a salesman from Vitals staff, get a few young guns fresh out of Loretts, go after it.

I find it VERY difficult to believe he is starting his own team again BUT... Ya just never know.

I am an Aussie and have followed Reedy since he was a kid in Australia. He has had an awesome career and most definitely elevated the sport in Aus but... maybe is it time to move on, maybe manage a team, become a trainer, idk...

My guess would be a KTM with no salary. His money will come from Monster, Fox, etc and someone like BTO or possibly KTM factory will bring the bike to the track.
