Sandman? ET BB or JA

All 3 seem to enjoy the sand. Tomac has stated multiple times he prefers sand and the deeper the better. Both Baggett and Anderson train in it. With 3 fairly sandy tracks coming up who will show up and be the Sandman this year? It's not going to be Herlings so don't start that bs.

My pick is Tomac due to last years results in the sand and it being the only times we really saw him be considered faster than Kenny in 16'.

I'm thinking Jason Anderson, his style will work good in the sand.

Gotta give the edge to Tomac I think, especially at Southwick and Millville. Blake's been very good at Red Bud over the years. Personally I'm not sure Anderson quite has the speed to run with Baggett and Tomac, but with the right circumstances like this weekend he'll definitely be up there.

JA doesn't have the speed to run with them but pulled away from tomac 1st Moto at muddy creek?? You guys have the weirdest logic sometimes.

The only sandy track is Southwick and ET has that covered.

He has the speed but remember Tomac thought he had the lead in that moto. I think he may have closed the gap if he knew Anderson was there.

Southwick is the sandiest but there are other tracks with a loose sandy base. I wouldnt consider them beach sand tracks but all sand isn't the same.

I may be thinking of a different race but if I'm not mistaken he came from way back one race and had that big get off in the other moto. Was he on a 250 or 450?

Let's go down the rabbit hole.

Eli has beat Kenny in the sand who almost beat Herlings in the sand, who got smoked by Cairoli in the sand who got smoked by Paulin in the Sand.

Paulin is winning Southwick. You heard it here first.

But then in the second moto of 2012 MXoN Barcia beat Paulin, but also lost to Herlings and Cairoli.

But in 2011 Barcia lost the overall at Southwick to Metty...

Brett Metcalfe is winning Southwick.

My guess is Tomac finishes the best of the 3. Then Anderson and then Baggett. Tomac and Anderson grew up riding very similar terrain in southern colorado and new mexico. Lots of sand washes. So my guess is that those two are more comfortable in the sand than Baggett.

And Goerke beat Metty in gopher dunes, and he also beat Chad Reed in southwick.

Beef fucking Goerke is gonna win Southwick, AGAIN.

Based on last year my vote is ET3. Go back and watch and tell me he didn't just destroy Southwick.

And that same year bagget won southwick but ET was coming and coming hard until (much faster than bagget) and hit that damn tree in that corner and fell. That's the one year I though the non champion should have went to MXDN based on the differences in sand ability. I think at least Tomac doesn't get lapped at lommel and probably beats Barcia there as well that year.

Shaun Simpson beat Cairoli at Lierop one year, straight up, on a private Yamaha.

Simpson for the win, oh hold on, Shaun got injured again this weekend. Damn.

What about that no name guy at Lommel when Matthes was there with Ferry? He blew by Ferry(GOAT according to Matthes), he will be the winner.

He got in front of Barcia early and Barcia was being a roadblock for everyone else.
