My boy and I witnessed Anderson's fast lap, which was his last lap. He came down the right hand side of the last downhill before the finish and missed all those gnarly ruts by riding over in the grass to the right of the yellow course markers. Is that legal for a fast lap?

He saved like three seconds.

Use of the term "my boy" completely invalidates your statement.

Seems to be a habit for him. Apparently that suspended fine for the same infraction in lakewood didnt have the teeth we all thought it would.

Sorry dudes. "My son and I..." I'm just an old redneck who has raced since 1976. Still love the sport even though it has changed. Just curious, because I heard on Pulp MX that he does this sort of thing in the races earlier in the year and didn't get penalized.

Guy is sketchy, but very fast. I don't really care, but I would think that the rival teams would care. I assume there is a little bragging about fast laps, but maybe not................

He was also pretty loose with the first turn in one of the motos. Seems like that warning is really working

He was probably reading vital earlier about how ruts are stupid and dont belong in motocross, so he went around them.

Busy in Calgary. I'll bring it to his attention when I see him.

I saw that, he got to the way inside (off the track) in the first turn and used the edge of the track as a berm to rail it and get the lead lol

I got the correct context ......"knuckle dragger". Don't be so quick to jump on people .

Why are you such a prick. I call my son my boy or little man all the time. Just because you're surrounded by a bunch of white trash all the time doesn't mean the rest of us are. Use a little discretion. Poor dude just talking about taking his little boy to a race and people jump him.

sorry that you had to explain yourself in regards to you being with your son. pretty pathetic that you start a thread to talk about something interesting and the only thing people want to respond about is another boy. anyway, thats interesting that you saw that and i wonder who else did. but i would think that if any official or team member, or anyone working there that day including flaggers would have saw this and told the officials, theres no doubt that lap wouldnt have been counted. with like you mentioned, this being a reoccurring problem of his, i still have a hard time thinking hes doing this on purpose. the ones ive seen on TV definitly looked to be accidenal when out of control but in terms of a fast lap in practice on the last lap, maybe he thought he could get away with it. i always wonder what different people at the races catch and see that would be cool to know that the viewers at home watching from TV miss and will never see. im sure there was some great battles all day that werent seen by us at home. i guess thats with every race though. but this years 250 class is on fire!!

Back on topic, maybe for repeat offenders they should use litpro or something to check at the end of each race.

On second thoughts, way too progressive for MX sports.

Looks to me like he was inline for the corner and Dong Offer cut in on him trying to get the cheater line and knocked JA into that line. JA just ran it!

You're LOOKING at it. Btw, pic taken by none other than Danielle Alessi. Charming young lady, only too willing to help, as you can tell.

re JA, this + track cutting @ CO, + the passive aggressive reference to BB4's comments, AFTER calling him benjamin button, etc...makes one question his character. makes for a great show though. cooper's gonna love picking on him next year. cant wait for more butt hurt.

Listening to Pulp's Hi Point wrapup Podcast earlier today and Jason Thomas mentioned both the fast lap excertion and the first turn incidents.

I guess I shall agree: If nobody cares enough, I would push the envelope too! Slap on the wrist or not get caught........I guess the penalty just isn't severe enough to take that option off the table.

Just seems like cheating, but I guess it isn't. Seems to be on the verge of getting out of hand though.

I was watching the qualifying show with my bitch, and I was absolutely shocked that they let that lap stand.

EDIT: My wife joined too.
