I really don't know what happened I just read it on the web. At the end of the day when a rider gets let go or fired the rider is the one that all ways looks bad never the team. Steffy should of never brought it up about the drama they had on there episode.

Same could be said about comparing the performance requirements needed out of a tire for a wknd warrior vs a top 15 AMA pro. I was going to say the same about Alldredge.

Except I was asking Ryno what he didn't like and I doubt he is a "top pro"? I do know a few guys that run "close" to Alldrege's speed when he was coming up but stopped chasing the dream and they seem to like them also (local pros)........(Yeah, I know not "technically" top 15 but closer than I)..............

Lol, no I'm not a top 15 pro. I'm a vet A class rider that can push it pretty hard for a few laps anymore. I tried the 233 on the front and my biggest complaint is it didn't hold up on the side knobs at all. That was a few weekends at a hard to intermediate dirt with some rocks present but nothing out of the normal. Side knobs chunked off after 4 motos running the 30 A and 35 A class. I was kinda ticked.

My wife also has them on her Beta 300 which they came with new. Same thing on her front tire up in the rocks when we ride the mountains. And she isn't aggressive on the front tire at all compared to me. That's where I came to my conclusions on Golden Tyre. I dumped them for Michelins on the wife's bike. I went back to MX52s on my 450r.

These guys are not stupid, I know who you are, I'm not gonna blow you out on here, but most others can tell you are close to the situation, you have posted twice since January and only to defend Jon Jon heavily. The truth usually comes out about these things, just try not to shoot yourselves in the foot. I like little man, think he has a decent future ahead of himself if you play your cards right.

Glad you said what ive heard from many who rode on that team. a few top level riders have said " no " once they rode the bike. I was hoping ricky would get that team on track

That's what I figured. We had a couple rears chunk real bad when we first tried them which we got replaced. They figured some of the first stock that came over had been sitting for awhile possibly? We replaced with same tire and my 250b kid has been abusing them in all kinds of terrain with no issues or complaints. I am a cheap bastard who hates paying for tires if I don't have to but likes all our bikes to have freshies so I am stuck. GT have so far done real well I will look tonight and see which ones we run for the NW.
I have had Dunlops (not sure which one but soft terrain) chunk off on first ride at my home track and have had great luck with other ones. Doesn't mean I think all Dunlops suck.
I do know the GT west guys are total moto heads who stand behind the product as seen from my experience......That said, run what works for ya.........

Roger that Tracktor. I didn't have much patience to ask about getting new tires from them. Maybe I should have. Anyway, the Michelins hold up decent for us in the rocks. That's what I use on my 450x also.

My MX bike usually gets the int terrain Dunlops since that is mostly what we race here. Rarely do I throw soft terrain tires on so I don't have much experience with those.

I need to see what Michelin we were running on our 125/144 project bike. My shop sold it to me as some light weight gnarly 125 tire so we tried it. We have ran it through every type of terrain for over two years and probably 30-40 hrs and just pulled it off as it was just starting to chuck. I keep meaning to write down what it was as even the shop doesn;t remember selling it to me it's been so long.........

Really? You are making your comparison to an AMA Supercross rider, doubt you risk your life every lap. For weekend play riding they might be fine, but using them at the highest level... Not wise.

Someone on the other side of the pond who just won his first overall rode on them when he was here testing for SX. As a 14 year old he was only about 2-3 seconds off of guys who have won supercross mains this year(and yes he was hitting the whoops).
