I know the critics don't agree, but "Rush Of Blood To The Head" is a better album than La Vida. I really like Coldplay, they have a great sound.

Listen to the links and vote whether Coldplay ripped off Satch or not.

Having been a music composition major once upon a time I know enough to say that while the chords I can forgive, as there are only so many directions you can go from one chord to another ( at least in Western tonal music ). It's the melody that seals it though. Particularly that suspension and upward resolution of the melodic line going from the first chord to the second. Had they at least changed that around it would not have sounded so blatant.

Then using the same beat and rhythmic figures = GUILTY AS CHARGED !!!

But proving it is another story. The legal system has a life of its own. Good luck to Satch.
