Agreed. Tomac and Dungey are making this one of the best 450 championships in a long while. Roczen kind of made things interesting last year but it's been awhile since the points between 1 and 2 have been this close.

Really? I guess you missed Tomac in 2015 before he hurt his shoulder (which was a catastrophic injury which took him a full year before he was even close to normal). Go to promotocross.com and educate yourself. I was at GH when Tomac OBLITERATED everyone in 2015 and then at Hangtown the next week. He got hurt in Colorado after that. Now that he's healthy, he's back to '15 Tomac, and he's the fastest man on the planet. Dungey doesn't stand a chance.
Wow!! You are even more of an idiot that I thought!! Pinch

It's pretty obvious the poster IS talking about Eli.

Dunge put in a hell of a ride. Last to 4th is impressive. And he did look smooth. Eli also put in a hell of a ride, started mid pack to 2nd with a crash. Eli did not look as smooth as he has been, lots of little mistakes but he kept the damage to a minimum. It was just an incredible race.

That track was crazy... I commend everyone who made the main last night. There was definitely some pegs dragging up the face of most of the take offs last night .. But Dungey had to pass most of the field on a track that was sketchy as best.. Great job Ryan.

Both RD & Tomac showed clearly why they are championship caliber riders. Dungey's slicing through the pack from dead last to fourth was almost more amazing than Eli's savage ride...but both guys are making this a great season!

Cool to see Musquin win too! When is the last time two riders have been tied in points for a SX title??

Yep , this! I think most all the guys out there had to use just about every skill they have ever learned tonight on that track. RD , Eli , Marv , Jason , ect....all exceptional rides.

Dungey rode is ass off. Cutting the Main Event down to 15 minutes is stupid. Let the 450 class race 20 +2. I am not a fan of changing the rules mid season. These guys are the best. That is like the PGA saying the greens are too fast. We will only play 15 holes in the final round at the Masters.

Bring on the Nationals!

This has nothing to do with Dungey or Tomac but was just wondering why do so many insult so many on this site? LoL oh by the way excellent ride by Dungey and he was able to pass lappers!

This!

I'm all for some banter, but I'm currently looking for an MX/SX forum, where the majority of the posts are about MX/SX.

Still, it is funny when people attack others intelligence with posts that wouldn't pass an 8 year olds grammar test.

Everyone that finished that race are extraordinary (thank you spell check!) riders.
Dungy and Tomac rode fantastic races.

Two guys with quite different styles and strengths, tied in the points lead with 3 rounds to go. Doesn't get any better for the fans.

Because there is no one in the house enough to keep the rules in check, or they just don't care. The insults, threats, and foul language is part of every day life here, sometime they (mods) will step in and shut it down but, for most, they let it go. I think ML mentioned Vital has 100,000 member's, they could have 200,000 member's but the reason is clear why they don't.

That was a hell of a ride from Dungey, but Tomac was just riding the whole track so much more aggressive than Dungey was. If he hadn't crash I feel like he would have caught Marvin, I had great seats in the corner over by the dragon back and had a great view of the finish line jump and then heading back towards the starting gate. From what I recall Tomac was one of the only guys tripling up onto the tables after the finish line jump and then going on, on and on. He was making up so much time doing that.

Don't mind him. His grip came loose and now he has gone out of control.

Great rides by Dunge and ET!

I hate to use the word lucky, but Dungey has definitely been fortunate that the two races he has went down off the start allowed for him to make up a ton of spots because of how rough the tracks were, which separates the top guys even more. If he were to go down off the start at just about any other track, it would be nearly impossible to even get top five.
