It looks stupid, immature and unprofessional.

We moan and groan about our sport being so tiny compared to most any other...and then we set a standard for our riders to look like their favorite hip-hop artist when they're under the scrutiny of a camera. I'm glad guys like Ryan Dungey and Eli Tomac don't see the need to be part of the flat-billed, oversized, ear-tuck herd of "cool" guys. I guess the reason is that they are both professional athletes that know a thing or two about presentation, and how the public perceives them.

I quit buying hats a few years ago at the supercross and motocross races because of the flat bill and ear tucked hats that came out. But I'm 55 and I don't get it. And while I'm at it, pull your pants up and stop sagging. Look I cut my hair and stopped wearing my bell bottom jeans and tie dye shirts years ago!!

Was in McDonalds getting a coffee Sunday afternoon, the 20's something lad behind the counter had the ear tuck going on. Full on tuck, in the corporate edition Rotten Ronny hat.

I have to tuck my ears into most hats because I have a peanut sized head. If I don't it looks even more ridiculous because the hat sits 3 inches off the top of my dome. Just the nature of the beast...

I think it looks totally goofy.

Maybe I am just jealous because I couldn't tuck if I wanted to (semi-mongoloid). I have trouble finding hats that don't look like a Kippah.

If I had dumbo ears maybe I'd do it but mine are normal. I still curl the bill before installing on my knoggin.

The dumbo ears look even more ridiculous tucked in because then they're showing half of a twisted, mangled ear when they bend the top under the hat. A goofy look no matter how you slice it. Not surprised we have JWACK to thank for it. Smile

I'm 32 now. But I had an old hat my grandpa gave me in middle school I wore the shite out of it.. Was to deep so I had to stuff my ears. Never seen it done before that and I didn't do it to be cool, I just did it to wear gramps hat lol . Now some hats are designed deep so you can tuck m and be cool as hell. But right now I'm tuckin my head on the pillow. My Job kicked my ass tonight.
