We old boys get blasted for saying that some things aren't as good these days. But when the F did having no protection on gloves (or indeed any other gear) happen, and how, exactly, is that an improvement?

I can't say that I ever complained about my fingers being tired from having to bend that padding.
I'm 29.... but I remember the fox dirtpaw gloves. You know why? Because when I put on panty hose for gloves for the first time I didn't think, man, I feel so fast with these dick skinners on.

Y'all remind me of those SJWs that complain about unrealistic standards for women's body's and getting triggered by the patriarchy. The gear didn't get too tight. You dudes just got fat.

On the Seven gear, did the designer purposely put the Seven logo with the dipped V on the back to look like the top of a thong hanging out the pants?

I'm not bitching about it being too tight, it's thin and doesn't wear. When my dickie pants wear 4x longer, we have problem, given the price point and longevity, I think my buckle jeans would last longer than the pants I've been wearing.

My main complaint on the gear these days is that the jerseys are to tight to allow for elbow pads...I won't ride without them, and all the jerserys (but the Klim Mohave) are too tight and don't fit over the pads.

Fasthouse pants are very similar to TLD pants. I have both that I bought last year. Fasthouse jerseys are more of a tailored slim fit but they aren't ultra skinny. They're also a little bit thicker and more heavy duty than most moto jerseys these days. The jerseys are made in America and, while basic, they do have really nice stitching.

I'm 5'8", 145 lbs., and wear a lightweight roost protector underneath my jersey. I wear a medium jersey and 32 pant. I think your size and the protective gear you wear has a lot to do with what types of fitment you like.

The one on the left is wearing them backwards.

I've got several sets of Fasthouse gear. The Grindhouse pant is a no frills, durable, normal fitting pant. The Speed Style line has a panel of the lightweight stretchy material on the front but that is it. Also seems to be even looser cut than the Grindhouse. The jerseys are quality too but are cut smaller, so go up one size. Its great gear. Like you I am not a fan of all the modern tight stretch gear out there.....

I've got 2 full sets of ANSR Alpha gear that I wore all last year. No real signs of wear.

Only problem is I can never get the ass to look as white as it was out of the package. That has more to do with my washing skills(or lack thereof).

Is Fasthouse gear made by troy lee?
No it's not made by TLD.

Fasthouse has a pair of normal pants like the TLD GP pant and a new style with stretching fabric in the thigh area.

That thing is good.

Not too impressed with my 2017 Fly Kinetic gear. It's seems cheaper quality than my older Fly gear. But it wasn't much money either.

For us old guys...we wear what we want.

My gear is TLD...protection, riding shorts, socks, gloves, jersey, pant, elbow pads (Baja/Off-Road)...and my Adventure Jacket with removable sleeves (Soooo nice!).

Helmet: TLD SE4 (I've tested the new AIROH, Nice!)

Neck Device: Leatt 5.5 or 6.5.

Goggles: Dragon NFXs and NFX 2.

Boots: A-Star 10s.

You're not gonna hear or see me talk shit on FLY, Gaerne, Sidi, Scott, Atlas, 6D, Kali, AIROH & Bell. All good stuff, great tech and good People. All priced right for what ya get. There may be some other brands that're renowned or even high-quality; but, many are over-priced or haven't kept up with the times or tech (ESPECIALLY IN HELMETS!).

As Don indicated, you can design YOUR OWN GEAR AT...Canvas. That's a Racer Developed brand & creating your own look jus' sounds cool.
