How is Moookie not in shape???? Care to elaborate?
Sure. From what I've witnessed, he has been very competitive when only speed is considered. Regarding fitness, If comparing Mookie to me, well yeah, he's in awesome shape. When comparing him to top tier racers, he's not in awesome shape. He seems to be improving but he definitely doesn't seem to have the stamina to go hard for 20 + 1. On top of that, MX is 30 + 2 x 2 in the heat and humidity.

These guys have agents that think of this stuff?

He knows the situation and probably has some guarantee from Monster/ His brother that if he wins said title he will have a ride somewhere.

It might be needed to guarantee 250 racer a rookie 450 ride if said title kicks him out of 250 class.

Did anyone guarantee the KTM 250 racers a 450 spot if they achieve the title? Might be a good idea in the future.

They could barely provide rides for 2 mid pack/top 10 riders like Bogle and Tickle.

You wont see any elite/top riders like Tomac on that team unless they get some major sponsors back.

I think Justin is going to get scooped up quick, based on his two 2nd place finishes on the big bike at the 2014 Monster Cup a couple years ago. Not sure if you guys remember, but he had a 2-2 score going into the third main event. I think he crashed twice in the third main, but ended up 6th overall.

This was with Tomac, Dungey, Barcia, Webb, Reed, and all the boys. I think this ride will be on the tip of his agents tongue.

Huge shift in economic policy hitting us. I would not be surprised to see budgets increased and maybe a new team or 2 next year. Vastly different outlook than the past few years. In my industry, we are going at about 200% and it keeps getting busier. Across the board. There is fixing to be a lot of disposable income hitting the country in the next few years.

Precision machining for a few different areas. We do a lot of work for the energy sector via Siemens power and transmission, ie: power grid. Hol Mac fluid dynamics, they build the hydraulic cylinders for Cat and John Deere. Groen, commercial food grade equipment. Those are our 3 biggest. They have all increased purchasing by atleast 200% over the last year and are steadily increasing to date. Siemens is rebuilding power grids all over the country, Cat and John Deere are building more and more tractors... We are looking to expand our shop by 20k ft, buy at minimum 5 more cnc lathes and 3 more mills and 2 more saws to carry the workload on top of hiring 3-4 more machinists to run them. It isnt slowing down. Forecasting is ridiculous
Not to hijack this post but, over the past 2 years John Deere has built less and less tractors along with CAT. John Deere has had multiple layoffs and are not building half the tractors they were 4-5 years ago.

Grant is doing a great job as the second rider but what if both Hill and Savatgy win their coasts and Kawi bumps them both up to 450's next year on a 3 man team with Tomac as their main man?
This is what I thought. I know it's easy for us because we aren't writing checks, but I think you make that happen at least for a year.

I seriously doubt Justin Hill will point out even if he wins the title. He missed quite a bit of racing over the last few years, unless I've missed something he should be able to race 250's again

I would choose savagty over hill. Purely for the outdoor performances.

I can see Tomac heading somewhere else next year.

That leaves 2 spots on Kawi 450. I don't think they will do 2 450 rookies on the one team, that will leave the door open for an experienced rider to jump to Kawi and either Hill/Savagty with the remaining ride.

Unfortunately, that's going to be a big problem for RCH...can't score an elite rider because they don't have a major sponsor, but can't score a major sponsor because they don't have an elite rider. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

He's been in the class over 3 years. If he wins, he's out.

Nobody seems to think Hill's lack of success in MX is going to have an impact on his future options? I don't think he's ever finished top ten in points, outdoors. I think he's only been on the podium once or twice, in four years.
*cough* Cole Seely *cough*.

SX is way more important.

What??? I'd take Hill all day long. He's faster, better prepared and puts in the effort. Stewart's got a good last name and about 20 extra pounds.

I make pistons, heads, ports, a multitude of parts for both. They have increased significantly over the last year, year and a half. Most of the layoffs are machinists, which sucks, but, it allows them to keep building tractors. And they are. A bunch of them. And looking at this quarter and next quarters forecast, they will be bullding about 50% more than this time last year. A lot of tractors...
