Mid 80s cr125/250. Put good forks and disk on front. And do a shock conversion , get trick bracket on swing arm for disk break in rear

Maybeeeee...

1988-1989 CR125/250

1988-1989 KX126/250

1989-1992 YZ125/250

1989-1992 RM125/250

XR500 twin shock setup for moto

IT 250/400

As a total weirdo oddball project, it might be fun to stuff a newer 4t motor in an older chassis. It'd be terrifying and the motor would probably destroy the frame catastrophically the first time you OJ'ed something, but it might be cool until then.

Probably regret it, but I have one I might be listing soon. Almost all original. Looks like it has five rides on it since new, so you can skip the entire rebuild process. Tongue

Build an 05 Sean Hamblin KX 250 replica.... Good looking bike, parts should be easy enough to score..... would be unique!

I say something different, I wasn't going to post a build thread of me doing a frame up rebuilding of my 12 yz450 because its a bike so many have written off. I figured most on here would ignore it and for the most part they have. However one person posted and were excited about it because they too thought that the bike was not the biggest pile of shit that a large group of people do. Guess the whole point of my post was since you don't have a bike for your project yet pick something different so that its not the same few bike brands and engine size piling up in the build section of the forum.

His bike looked good and sounded good too. One of the "great outdoors" videos had him riding one and it barked pretty good.

Very Nice Bike! I love Bike riding.

Exercise is really important to me - it's therapeutic. So if I'm ever feeling tense or stressed or like I'm about to have a meltdown, I'll put on my iPod and head to the gym or out on a bike ride.
