Disappointment- I thought JMart would walk away with it. You could put Hansen in there I suppose, but his results didn't really disappoint or surprise me......
450 Surprise-Webb showed maturity and rode to finish! I do believe he'll be a player this season if he rides within himself and will finish top 5 overall if he doesn't crash himself out. Good night for him I think.
Disappointment-Clearly Tomac's slide backwards. He's the guy most likely to match Roczen in speed, and he gets to second and tosses the anchor out. Tomac doesn't have Dungey's track record of consistency, so laying up may not be a solid strategy for him.
Other disappointments obviously include Pourcel, Canard, etc. But one of my biggest disappointments is why some decent team doesn't swing some really good support and equipment to a guy who has now made 17 straight mains? Can Nick Schmidt do nothing to get a good, paid ride? His name will get mentioned every single week, obviously, and the privateer to supported ride storyline would probably warrant it's own "human interest" piece during an intermission!
He may not love Canard as much as he did before.......
Then again, Pourcel may have already drawn his bubble bath and decided stay in......

Freise did stop Peick and thanked him for not punting him over the berm in the last corner of their semi.
Probably took some of the sting out of his Sprinter which gave up the ghost in Flagstaff. Left him stranded for a while.
OR BOTH!
Biggest Disappointment- the realisation that this season will be the same as last (Roczen and Dungey on another level)

BRAYTON!!!###sucked last night
Reeds DNF and CP's piss poor performance were lows
McElrath riding a strong fast race in 250's was good to see but not a long way from where he was last year, just polished and probably fitter.
Martin with a bad start in final was a bummer
Surprise - Not really that surprising but just how good Kenny looked. When he's on form like that.. wow! Definitely one of those riders that makes you want to go riding when you watch him ride. He just does everything right on the bike with no drama, making it it look so easy. At least last night.
Dungey was honestly the biggest surprise for me. Made light work of his teammates. I'm still not used to aggressive dunge.
Disappointment: Pourcel not making the main.
Disappointment - how easy and boring that track was
