Are you going to get some frame guards? I used grip tape too, just doesn't last.

Hoping for some carbon ones at some point.
Thanks, yeah I have some Works Connection guards that I had anodized black.

Got the top end back from Microblue so I can get back on moving forward. Few final touches on the cylinder tonight. Tomorrow should be a simple wash the top end part and final assembly. I do have two different heads for this motor (long story). Each one was custom cut a little differently so I’ll cc them and see if I can get a good clay print to figure out which one I’m gonna put on. The bike is ready to rock so there is a small chance for brap or two this weekend. Stay tuned!

How where you able to mount the front disk guard, are you running rm forks or rmz forks. Who did the coating on the master cyclinders? Sorry for the questions, I have a rm thinking about fixing up as well with one of those tanks once I figure out what let go in the motor .

They are the RM forks, using the Acerbis wheel spacer/guard mount. The disc guard itself actually came off my 2016 450sxf-fe. Clayton Miller at TrickEng can coat your master cylinders, caliper, etc...

I haven't dug super deep on it but do you need a special mount for disk guard

That's cool. Custom in what way? Like a 144 pipe?

Jeff at Bill's added length to the pipe for the increase in bore size!

It's alive, fired on the third kick! Still need too bleed the breaks, put the chain on and apply the graphics. More pictures to come tomorrow when I get some light.

Love the flow of this bike. Looks awesome. Did you powder coat or anodize the swing arm and sub frame. The finish turned out really clean.

Any suggestions and tips for cutting the side panels?

Can't wait to see the graphics.

Thanks! The swingarm and subframe were powder coated. As far as side panels, just take your time. I cut them using a chop saw and sanded the edges until they were nearly perfectly flat.

I would be afraid to ride this thing. great build. Wonder how she would look with blue axle blocks and triple clamps.

Thanks! Those are some good thoughts! It's so hard to find axle blocks for the RMs! I am thinking I am going to have too re-anodize another set of these blue seeing as how they only come in red.
