Is Reed changing gear brand

I like fly, that being said I dont like their 2017 styles as much and would like to see more simplistic/minimalistic designs

Since JT$ has chimed in excuse me while I hijack this thread.....I have been wearing Fly for several years now, started due to contingency. Racing XC or HS for 2 hours in Texas we like that Fly's gear is usually vented very well, it seems less so lately, maybe it's just me. We wear vented gear year round!! It holds up extremely well. I got a set of the camo/blk/org gear for my burfday.. Seems good to go so far, would like more vented material in the pants. But that color scheme is great. With long dusty races gear with large white patches don't stay white long!! And dealers around here have it to try on is a huge selling point. I refuse to buy gear mail order if I have never worn it. Don't want any skinny jean crap!!

So keep up the good work JT$ and leave those diamond or geo shape things alone!!

Well seems it's official now but I remember hearing this from Keefer on the PulpMX show. He said Roczen would be in Shift while Reed would b in Fox and he said they'd alternate every year. So I wonder if Roczen will be in shift or not

I thought it was very public knowledge Reed would be wearing Fox and Kroc or Dungey would go to Shift.
All in same family just moving pieces.

IMO shift actually looked pretty good from the early 2000s till '08 '09. In 2010 and 2011 their gear looked absolutely horrible besides the reed stuff in 2011. I remember millsaps and brayton wearing shift in 2011 and thinking why the hell arent they wearing the reed stuff. Their gear doesnt look that great for 2017, id like to see more of the 2012 style gear they had in 2018.

I don't get all the hate on Fly. Like I said earlier I bought a set of Shift gear because if Reed, but I still buy and support Fly even though the local race series that had the contingency with them folded. They hooked me with how much they were willing to put into the sport and I will always support them. My last set of gear was the 2015 lite hydrogen and I love the stuff.

Rat gear was so good. I can put a face to all but 2 rides in that ad. That gear would sell like hot cakes to VMX riders in Oz right now.

Shift is fox sister company.... didn't read all the thread but sure someone said that. I had a shift contract when I was not fat and washed up haha and had to wear fox helmets (shitty) and fox boots (mediocre) back then
