Seems like he can be a punchline at times but I enjoyed his commentary and last time I heard him interviewed, he is good at articulating different aspects of a racers mindset

A bunch, and bike brands mean nothing. Riders are everything.
I agree with this about 75%. I do agree that the rider is 75-80% of the equation, but a rider still has to have the right bike to win. And I agree all bikes are top notch, but that does not mean all riders can just jump on whatever and win.
You can tell he doesn't have a bike sponsor anymore and self promotes his personal training and rider coaching job , which he mentioned several times during the broadcast

I thought he was great in the commentary box. Spoke really well, made good observations and offered some interesting anecdotes. Couldn't fault him personally.

I think he nailed it, he self promotes our SPORT as much as anything else. I haven't heard anyone convey what it takes to win in motocross better. But then again I'm a fan, always have been.

Although after breaking my neck before neck braces were invented and having to wear a halo brace for 4 mos., I don't agree with him about neck braces.

....Push the bike.

I don't agree that you can jump on any bike & go fast, right away! Jmart did looked good, but not everyone will.

Yeah... that comment was a little strange. But I think what he meant was that all the bikes are good and fairly equal.

It's philosophy 101. His decision is none, or he's doing what he should do any provide the blue prints end materials but let you build it. I haven't even heard it but you just did and you only heard waffle waffle when if you listened you woulda been given detailed instructions on what you really wanted.

Would you rather have him make it for you so you can go win the being right contest because be said she said with everyone else in life.

Gotta make your own, he told you the plus minus of either. Now make it based on your view, need, or wtf it is that you decide is better or will benefits you I guess

I listened and he was one step from asleep. His monotone answers left Paul Malin carrying the broadcast. When Ryno was asked about something he would ramble and talk in circles. Some might like him, but I don't... My opinion. I also liked Chuck Sun's analysis much better.

By the way your answer pisses me off as bad as my college Philisophy professor...

Have an educated opinion and go with it, but if new information is presented I reserve the right to change. That is my Philisophy!

Ryno may be long winded, but ultimately he wants our sport to grow, and is doing his best to make that happen. IMO
