Js7 cannot and will not win an overall in 2017. Rbsr don't count.
I would disagree. If James can get into shape between now and A1. He could have a good night and win. The stars must align but it's possible.

The difference being that Reed has some fight left in him. And is willing to put it on the line to show the fans.

I wish it wasn't over but it is. I'll bet he does not win one sx or ama mx overall.
I will put my money where my mouth is. It takes a lot to win today and to prepare for this level commitment has to be paramount. Js7 time has passed.

I'm about to send $20 to Rob for a Webb/ Savetgy bet I made.... Tongue I'd be careful betting with him. I don't lose many, but I bet with my heart on many of them. This one included !!

EDIT- Money sent !! You called it buddy, he earned it for sure.

Whether he wins again or not, my point was simply who does RCH put on their bikes now that Kenny is gone? James is a big name and still very fast. It's only for a year, and it'd keep RCH front and center (for better or for worse after these past few years). Performance-based contract for sure.

It seems less crazy than Genova.

Educated guess on the RCH team for '17
Bogle/Tickle
Stewart is desperate for a ride at this point, nothing else has panned out with his team deals and sounds like him and Yosh are done. MCR will be a shit show, but if it happens, everyone will have content for multiple threads on him. Tongue
I just don't see Big James and Tony Alessi getting along very well. It'll be a mistake for Genovas sanity, that's for sure.

I You guys understand there is a better chance of winning if Vilipotto started traing again.
Stewart is done, no chance, gate filler.

Most contracts have a clause that it can't be modified unless in writing by both parties. This, absent that, the original contract is enforceable, and any change by a party unilaterally is a breach of contract by that same party - a remedy to that breach is NOT void of the contract, it is solely monetary because the breaching party still has contractual obligations. If the non-breaching party suspends performance because of the breach, they are opening themselves up to a breach of contract should the original breach not be adjudged a breach.

That would make a lot of sense. Bogle is a great pick going forward: lots of potential upside with much less drama than JS7. If Deano is in the mix, he could be another nice gamble - maybe somewhere between JS7 and Bogle with regard to risk/reward.

And, yeah, if JS7 goes to MCR, GuyB better start buying more servers now! The interwebs will melt down. That sure would be fun, though.

I have only one qualm with your post: you think Genova is sane? Laughing

Rockstar or Monster for sure. With their main rider being a Red Bull guy, now that hes gone they door is open. Ricky is sponsored my Monster, only makes sense.

And...didn't I read somewhere that Mike Alessi was retiring after the Canadian Championship? If that's so, I don't see Tony being a factor. I imagine Genova will gladly say goodbye to him. Heck, Big James would be a vacation compared to Tony Alessi.

Just a thought ....

I have a feeling that Malcom Stewart sat out the outdoors for GEICOon the 450 to save some funds which would be used towards 2017 450 team effort perhaps.....the 2017 450 team may include brother James as well on GEICO SEVEN HONDAs.....

It is also possible that, as part of the " deal ".... SEVEN may be the new gear sponsor for Team Geico Honda???

Doubt this at all, one of the owners of the Geico Honda team also owns and started Alias.

Malcom didn't ride outdoors this year due to the fact that he almost died last year from severe dehydration and the resulting damaged it caused to his body. And fishing is more fun than training for 2 30+2 motos every weekend. Geico had a 450 team this year with Boogle as the rider. Bikes and tech support provided by factory Honda. It was the same set-up as when Tomac rode 450's for them.

Honda is looking to increase it's footprint by giving RMATV a works bike or two, supposedly. I would venture to say that if this happens, you could possibly see Jimmy Stew on that team, on that bike, with individual Red Bull sponsorship making it worth his while. He might even get his childhood riding buddy Chizz back as a teammate.

I tried reading thru the lines, but I'm totally confused with your post. Honda and RMATV ? Jimmy Stew ? Nothing against Chisolm, but that's a little bit of a stretch. You been drinking ?? Tongue
RMATV will be the title sponsor for the Butler Bros KTM team, not sure where Factory Honda support comes into play, but maybe you're onto something ?

Mike will be racing SX with his partner in crime. Tony will be there as manager.

Kiwi, adding Big James to MVR would create a "Shit Show", IMO. They've just got the team functioning like it should be, I personally think that JS7 won't end up over there, but it seems that it's a real possibility from several different people who would know, but IF that happens, it would be tough to imagine Big James and Tony getting along under the same tent. I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this way. Big James has been known to create drama wherever he goes. Pretty common knowledge for most.... Between Tony and Big James, they have always been pretty rough to deal with on previous teams that their kids have been involved with. I hope Brayton gets the ride, I can see that working out well, but who knows....
