damn, this the real thing. the 2017 looks great, i love it, but this is the type of design work i wish we'd have been seeing 6 years ago. we need to get the bikes to this stage - flat seat, sleek, futuristic. Honda make this happen!

Perhaps that will happen in 2018 Smile I think that header and cylinder head looks like it might be a 250?

It looks good, from that one angle. I though the yz's were uglier then sin when the first pics came out, now I own one and like it. Will anyone be racing the crf this weekend?

That front fender.....where's Burn?

I wish I had the skills to draw up some of that stuff. All the bikes I drew during junior high English class looked horrible.

so what I see when I look a the 2017 Honda is a amazing job at mass centralization and slimming down of the bike then.......................... there is the radiators sticking like a couple wings just begging to get torn off and or bent.... I think the next major development will have to be cooling systems. Just cant have that critical of a system be the weakest point.

Can't say I'm much of a fan of the sharp angular lines of the current Hondas never mind going to the OP's design.

Can we not have some smooth classier looking lines on the next generation Hondas, these just look like they'll be really dated in ten years.

I also expect frames will eventually look a lot more like this Aprilia. more of an exo-skeleton similar to street machines. it may be an impossibility with the what mx bikes can do, but Apilia was trying to do something. would love to hear from the design team who made that bike, what they were going for.

in the "and this is the 2017 honda...' thread it shows a picture of the Honda and the KTM from above, the Honda is slimmer around the shrouds, its is probably now the slimmest bike out there now in that area.

I always thought the Aprilia was that way because of the extra stress/weight and size a two cylinder engine put on the frame. They needed dual exhaust for dual cylinders and Honda needs it for one. Silly
