The bike is not the problem, Strijbos won Lommel, while Roczen is going to win the ama title with the Suzuki. Money and mayby dealing with Everts is a problem. If you want to win a mxgp title in the next years. You need to have riders like a Cairoli,Herlings,Febvre,Gasjer or Nagl on your team. Nagl just resigned with Husky and the biggest fish Herlings with KTM. All others have longer deals signed. Suzuki wants to go back winning. But i dont see that happening.
Agreed Bike is not the problem all factory bikes r good. Budget could be a problem thats why they can't pay for big riders and r behind the 8th ball all the time, and when they offer someone a decent amount they don't want to come there because he is there so i predict a huge fiasco and don't see Kevin staying with Suzuki for much longer.

Everts is between a rock and a hard place,,, Desalle shipped out when he knew Geboers was going, Stribos still had a year to run , but nobody else wants to go there, no title sponsor ( does anyone actually know where REDSAND is).

So money is tight , the bike is as old as the hills, with no sign of a new one, and Everts had to buy a team to stay in the paddock, seeing as he was shuffled across and down at KTM , if have the utmost respect for him as a rider , but he doesnt seem to be having much of a career after .

Red Sand is a training facility near Castellón, Spain. The owner is a bussinesman that also sponsors any spanish rider that wants to race internationally. I don't think the facility is that profitable, so I assume he makes it out of passion.

So maybe Butron will sign then.. and Prado.

Seriously, thanks for that, i genuinely didnt know.

The sport exists through the passion of guys that can afford to lose money supporting it.

I think Jasikonis is worth a punt, he is young , strong, and reasonably fast, when you think how Desalle started , i think a young 'too big ' guy is worth a full season.

Stribos has another year left, i think he just signed an extension, and at his age , i dont see him having anywhere else to go , and he is a great fit for the team IMO. Seewer will come up when he is old enough, and by then maybe MX2 guys will look at it as a viable option.. or it will be a guy with money .

Nagl would have been daft to leave ICE ONE, they want him and he wants them,

I have a feeling stew will be yellow no matter what. Own team or Suzuki backed. dont know what that means for Mookie maybe red with roczen and seely? Or that seemingly invisible geico ride that keeps popping in and out of existence.

As far as a third Yamaha rider I would def go with Brayton or Bogle for supercross only then pick up a dude like tickle or bisceglia or even Bogle for outdoors with Webb.
Malcom just posted a new Geico 450 still in the crate at his house on snapchat.

I agree, all factory Suzuki bikes are generally pretty good..I mean heck is there even a bad factory bike from any manufacturer at the moment?....problem is people think just because the showroom one isnt that great then a factory one must be the same

He seems to have a problem with riders that get more popular than he was.
He needs to figure out if he's ready to be a great team manager or if the "former star-number one-ten times world champion-most successful MXGP rider ever" part of him is still prevalent.
IMO , He know s there are only 3 riders in MXGP that are wort the money they want ,"to be in the title hunt " ie , Pauilin got payed huge to be in the hunt for the title . imo he is a huge long shot at ever winning a title same as nagl same as desaile etc . But yet you need to pay these guys the same as AC222, because they will win races . Everts imo is not willing to . Its his first year ,and i think he will do great in the future because look at how good his youger guys are doing . i see him getting young guys for MX1 (Sweeier). End of the day there is only 3 guys who can win a world champ in mx1 at the moment . they all have rides .So there is no rider he can even get to be in the title hunt next year . its the exact same in the US , come A1 we will hear that any of 10 guys could win the championship .in reality only 3 can ,But yet 7 others are getting paid to .

Up untill this year i did nt see Honda winning either , But Gasjer came out of the blue. I think the next rider that has any chance at a MX1 world title is in the MX2 class now. (like febvre and Gasjer did) imo Nagl ,Paulin, deselle ,vanH,etc all will never win a world title . Everts problem is there are no riders out there to sign . Why pay a guy to win when history says it wont happen . Might as well wait out the year and get a young rider who could do a Gasjer or Febvre , Ie Everts alreday will have the best MX2 rider signed for next year

I agree with you there are only three riders in MXGP capable of winning a title in MXGP(222, 243, 461) and Herlings will join that list next year.

Paulin, Desalle, Nagl etc are all great riders, but they are to inconsistent and always end up injured.

I therefore think it's a bit too early to dismiss Everts as a manager. I have no inside info of his personality as a coach, and he might suck big time as one and scare riders in other directions. On the other hand I think he might scare some riders with his cv. He knows what it takes and do buy their excuses if they don't prepare themselves properly. Just a thought...

I can see Pauls Jonass go there when he is ready to move up, didn't they have a good relation in the past? He might not be a title threat just yet(ever?)

Prado and Butron don't need it hahah. They sponsor the privateers: Larrañaga, Valentín, Mataró,.... And also Factory Sherco enduro rider Lorenzo Santolino. Probablly more but can't think of them now.

but also remember who is one off the best trainer/coach in the pddock .... Harry Everts.

I remember Stefan did great things with young riders. But than he run in to problems with Herlings and suddenly he was the worst manager/coach ever.

This , plus look how much Seewer improved this year , suddenly he is a great sand rider .anyone think Everts had anything to do with that ! i do . Man its his first year .I dont know what people were expecting ,he had BT101 and Stribos . to very good riders but anyone thinking these riders should be winning a world title this year ,i am sure that was not even the rider s aim ,more like a top 5 at the best

Maybe Todd Waters could slide back over to the GP,s he already rides the Zuk.
He would be itching to get back over there.

He would need to have dominated this year at home for that to be a chance

If Hsu is going to the US( which i think is a mistake) ,, they need a good MX2 rider, but i think Bernadini's TM is a better bike than the Suzuki, however , TM dont currently run a 450 , which they need to get back to,

He would be a good signing , i dont see anyone better

What About the american Sanayei? Is he staying in europe and move over to the mx2 class or going back to the us? Got a good year and rival Kjer Olsen showing top 10 speed in Swiss GP.

I agree the TM is alot better than you would think it would be .But i think you are way off ,it being better than the Suzuki. the Factory bike of Seewer is an absolulte rocketship . I honestly think is the fastest bike in the class . its always near the front off the start . and look at seewer beside anstie last race .he just out dragged right past the husky. they have something deff figured out with that bike , because the stock one is prob the slowest in the class jmo

ps , is vassen not moving up to MX2 next year

I understand the bike, but I think him doing the British championships may have helped him with starts and confidence.
I have a feeling when he said he wanted to stay with Kawasaki he meant the factory team.

Is Blake Wharton going to ever actually coming back to racing? He kinda dropped off the grid doing his music, but lately I see pics of him in Alias gear with 6D helmets testing bikes...and still looks fast, but I don't see him getting any team rides after being gone so long...
