LOL. He has qualified easily for every main he made except 2(?). And is right there fighting for points when the actual racing starts.
No way a smelly, dirty plug, vibrating 125 can hang with 4 strokes.
They confirmed its a stock YZ125.

Way better than my farts thats for sure.
The 250/300 thing was an engine comment... KTM's largest produced engine is currently the 250/300 two-stroke, as they count that as one engine when it comes to numbers. The second largest engine produced (just barely behind the 250/300 2t) is the 350 four-stroke.
The 250/300 2t is produced for somewhere around 14 models between KTM and Husqvarna, while the 350 is made for about 8...maybe 9 models across the two brands. When the total number of each engine built is divided by the models it's put in, the 350 is the best seller.
In the US, it's definitely not the top seller, but in quite a few countries throughout Europe it is due to the multiple off-road models available of the 250/300.
As for the comment on who produces the most "off-road motorcycles", I believe that Honda and Yamaha are producing more still. With off-road, your counting in adventure bike models, entry level bikes, dual sport, moto, off-road/xc, etc. Which when you add those all together, both Yamaha and Honda do have quite the offerings of models... some high volume ones at that.
Lastly, Yamaha has claimed in their latest PR launches that they're currently the highest selling 450 motocross model in the US, the highest selling 250 motocross model, and the highest selling 250 XC segment (their 250FX they claim outsold the KTM 250XC-F in it's first year for sale)... while their 450FX hasn't quite been available for a full model year, yet.
And it is the same for Beta. 300's then 350 4t in volume.

So the free market system is working, and consumer's rule with their wallet's speaking.
It's also fun to note that due to the success in "niche" markets, KTM made enough profit to beat the AMA, FIM, MIC, etc. at their own game, namely the Premier 450 4t race series.
Pit Row
They made the rules when the 250f was heavy, slow and unreliable. I think it's time to update the damn rule book.
