He was cool as hell and handled it like a gentleman. I thought it was a great interview full of good info. Definitely worth a listen.

X2. He was great. Kudos to both Tony and Steve for handling it so well.

I was just going to start this thread but decided to check first.

How is this not blowing up? Tony sacked up and admitted he was wrong. He admitted that he likes the show. And he admitted that he deserves the sound drops and doesn't care.

I am usually one of the first in line to beat on Tony for the things that happened in the past. But I'd like to be one of the first to give him kudos for manning up and making things right. He also helped plug a common sponsor (well).

If only Jason Anderson could take some notes and learn to do the same. Great job, Tony!

It seems like it's a requirement to some on here for everyone to like matthes.

I think it's a requirement to understand that Matthes is here and isn't going anywhere anytime soon and the interviews on PulpMX are actually cool stuff with the best guests, in-studio and over the phone. You may not like Matthes but you have to pay attention to what he says because his insider info is solid.

Tony had lots of interesting news and offered some great advice on starts, sounds like his team is doing great things. Hats of to Tony, great job, expressing himself. Hoping this takes all Matthes venom away.

I was shocked too!! I thought Tony was really good. I thought the technical insights he gave were really solid. I say do a bi-weekly segment where Tony answers technical type stuff- start techniques, bike set-up, etc.. Wouldn't that be a crazy twist for the show!!

Yeah, I appreciate all of Steve's great, free work (sans hockey show), and I don't apologize for that.

This isn't about Steve, though: it's about Tony and his manning up.

Pulp Show takes me several days to get through and I haven't gotten to Tony's segment yet.

But I did listen to the Main Event one a few weeks back. Great stuff! I was pleasantly surprised by his candor and honesty. He said if he had to do it all over again he would do their amateur stuff much differently - they put too much emphasis on Loretta's, Mini O's, etc. and at too early of an age. He knows he screwed up by not getting Mike and Jeff into SX riding earlier on. Also was interesting to hear him say he thinks kids shouldn't turn pro until 18.

Looking forward to his part on Pulp.

How did Matthes and Blair get that guys voice to sound so much like Tony Alessi?

Great interviews - both Main Event and Pulp. Totally grounded down to earth and humble. Same ol' Tony Huh

Great job by Keefer for instigating that.

Tony sounds like he's finally given up on chasing the elusive golden ring and has found his niche with training other peoples kids. He obviously has a lot to offer.

I'd love to hear his stories on a regular basis. Watson could add a segment to his new endeavor titled "Cross Rutted with Tony Alessi"

After listening to tony a, he sounds like a genuine dude. The stuff he is doing with amateurs is pretty cool. Also his take on contracts makes sense

It was a good, informative interview.

Good on both Tony and Steve for "burying the hatchet" and for Kefifer for digging the hole to throw the hatchet in.

I like to think of the personalities on the the show, Matthes, JT$ and the co host, like a game of "Rock, paper, scissors"........all balancing each other out.

I looked that up as soon as he mentioned it. Same concept as Nuetech Tubliss Do you really stick a needle in the tire carcass to inflate it like a football? Then you rely on slime to seal the hole? How do you check pressure? What am I missing?

I was surprised Steve was able to bite his tongue when Tony mentioned that supercross is good for Jeff because he only needs to be able to ride 1 lap fast. I thought for sure that would open up the can of worms about rolling or going around the whoops.
