My daughter was standing in the corner after the finish line where the riders exit the track to go to the pots after the race. She was happy with a high five from them. But Weston took his goggles off and handed them right to her! She was so excited she said she was shaking. After the race we went into the pits, saw him and asked for an autograph on tbem. My daughter will remember that for the rest of her life. Thank you WP28.

Last year at Hangtown Weston and his dad were one of the only ones really taking to time to talk to the fans! They are good people for sure!

Well done WP28. In Washougal 2011 he signed goggles for my son who was 5 years old and thanked us for being fans. Good guy. His dad is pretty darn cool too.

She will definitely remember it forever. She said "daddy....im shaking" after she met him. Westin just jumped in front of RD and KR as her favorite rider now! Those brief moments of personal attention last a lifetime. She also met Andrew Short, Jeremy Albrecht who were both very cool and down to earth and were happy to take a minute for a picture with her. Those guys just won over 3 more fans!

However the best part for me was after she got the goggles she said to me "daddy, I don't want to sit here anymore" , I asked why and she said "because I already got goggles, I want someone else to get some too". I couldn't have been more proud of her for thinking of others and not being greedy!

Keep Southwick on the schedule for another 20 something years like it once was!!
