And how do you know it isn't? I mean the guy has been on the same team and has base settings that he is likely using from last year ... please tell me how you know this.

Sooooo gutted for Roczen, he put on a clinic. Thinking we may see a statement in the second Moto

Dungey does "make his own luck". He's the most consistent rider ever. That's because he's the smartest rider out there. He knew he didn't have anything for Ken in that moto. But by not riding over his head and accepting second, he ended up with the moto win when Ken had bad luck. It's not about winning every moto. It's about who has the most points at the end of the season.

'Set up' seems to have become the default excuse for any top contender who doesn't win these days. Surely Dungey has the option of running exactly the same set up he used to win last years championship?

Standard Jimmy comment. Didn't Dungey just say he was feeling comfortable on the podium? Hey maybe he was just riding smart and letting him win? Laughing

Never before has a team been happy their rider missed out on the podium by one spot. Bet they would rather him take a 4th and not have to be interviewed.

Funny though how everyone acts like Dungey has never had bad luck:

- Freestone: bike ran out of fuel and lost 25 pts
- Southwick: gas cap breaks off
- Red Bud: e-start fails leading to DNF
- Southwick: suzuki won't start in the pits and starts almost a full lap down

Except when he runs out of gas of course...

Is that Kenny Watson re-inflating Roczens fork using the air in his head?
