The Husky 125 is not on the Approved machine list what are they going to do about that ? lol

Or are they changing the list before the nationals start ?

I think its awesome as hell he's doing them all, just hopefully actually gets to race the Huskies.

I posted something similar in the other thread ,they still have to qualify and race against the 250s but a few guys may say " I'm not able to make a run with the 250 but I think I can be the fastest 125 " It could catch on if there was a decent sponsor for the 125 winner each week.

Exactly... Why is everyone so scared of 2 strokes? You would think the powers that be would want to make more money. Where are the greedy bastards when you actually need them???

I think Steinke is a breath of fresh air to the sport. Guy has an good attitude and doesn't afraid to be different. All the top riders are quite boring personalities today and only mumbling list of their sponsors in their podium speeches. Alloy framed Japanese bike are quite similar too in these days and there is not huge difference between 250 and 450 class either. I think our sport needs more guys like Steinke to bring back the rebel attitude.

I guess Steike is doing something right because he is only 20th place rider I know and many of my Finnish buddies know him too.

as good as stewie was/is he would still finish up top but he would have a much harder time coming through the pack with 250f's making more power. Back in 2004 250fs were maybe pushing 40-44 hp modded, in fact i remember on two occasions MXA tested PC 250fs GL's and RV2 in 2006/07 and they reported them pushing 46hp.

additionally the tracks play a huge factor. Track builders are working towards loamier dirt every year, even Hangtown which was notoriously hardpacked and square edge bumps has gotten loamy for the weekend(and very rough) so his kx125 would struggle more on the bigger jumps and deeper dirt

Overall, maybe not so much but the KTM dropped 4 pounds off the motor from 2015 to 2016, that is significant.

the motor and frame have improved but the WP still is behind the SSS according to test reviews.

I think they are ok. I used to have an 03 and after a revalve the worked well enough. Im sure the new stuff can be setup well enough.

If i was buying a new 125 id be buying a Husky. 1 cuz i like the white better than orange and 2nd. its as light as the yz and it has more power

That's what I mean, the 250F has improved since the #259 was beating them on a 125, but the 125 has also improved in ten years.

That Stewart video from a couple years ago where he is riding a stock YZ250 and talks about it being slow, no kidding James? Like a guy that rides nothing but factory 450s is gonna have any other impression about a stock YZ250? Let's see how slow a full factory effort YZ250 would be...

I think he should run a Varner or P/C 144cc etc.super mod motor, no body gunna ck that shite and if they do givem the "Lobster finger".Cool to see though,bring on the outdoors.

I hope Steinke will get proper suspension this time. Cone valve forks and Trax shock are quite improvement over stock WP stuff.

I would be nice see factory Husqvarna give some support to Steinke or guys like Team Motoxxx

Where did you see that list? All i can find is the 2015 SX list. No MX list of any year anywear. In years past SX and MX homologation was a seperate deal.
