Such a bummer, but it's probably the best decision for him.

I hope he can pull it together and have a decent run during the outdoors.

Well shit , i know it's for the best. Hopefully he gets to feeling better and has a run at the outdoors. If he does....will he finish all 12 rounds? I had a feeling he was gonna cut the sx short. Hopefully come into the nationals refreshed.

Hate from his own team. How is the Baggett mention relevant to this PR?

Maybe James should just heal up and go supercross only. I think as this point in his career, that would be the best choice.

I'm hoping he can string together some consistent motos this summer, hopefully 4 weeks is enough time to hit the reset button and feel somewhat fresh for Hangtown.

So would you be telling your James Stewart fan friends to buy their ticket to Hangtown?

If my only mission at Hangtown was to meet James, I'd cancel my trip.

Would you be buying any tickets before the monster cup?

I will say this has a lot of the same feelings as the switch from JGR to Suzuki

JS7 is the Tiger Woods of motocross. All these guys looked up to him as they were growing up and wanted to be like him because he changed the sport. Now the sport has evolved even more, it's more athletic and more competitive. I think its awesome that he can still get out there 10-15 years after his "prime" and get top 10's despite his bad luck and injuries.

Hating Supercross... loving the fact that I may of been wrong about Stewie "ducking" The Outdoors.. "again...

and still the so called "fans" of the sport only see him gaining weight or retiring from races with injuries that they think are not bad enough for pulling off the track.

So his "prime" was between 15 years old and 20 years old?

Sad news. I really do hope he rides the nats. It will be a loss for the sport if he's done. He's had an exceptionally bad run in SX but you're kidding yourself if you think he isn't as fast as anyone/everyone on the track. Staying out of harms way and off the ground is the only piece missing....yes, it's a keystone piece.

Here's hoping he does race again though, though I fear the comparisons to Tiger are all to real. Brilliant athletes who changed their sports, but who's bodies have paid the price.

No kidding. The guy has a jacked ankle, back, and whatever else, but he's a pussy if he doesn't go out and win.

If I'm jacked up, the last thing I want to do is get on a plane 52 weekends a year and workout every day in between. Let the guy heal for heaven sake's.
