This is hard to believe, very sad news, im glad I got to see him ride (and win) in Bercy. I think I should have photo of him I will post.

That one hurts pretty bad. I had not checked the boards much this weekend, and came on to check things out last night, and saw this thread first.

That's probably one of the best tributes I seen in a long time!!! Thanks for the video.. This is so hard for such a close group of fans and riders.

Our thoughts are out to the Masterpool family.. I personally know 2-3 80's riders that where huge fans of Jesse! Let his memories continue to motivate and inspire riders everywhere..

I posted condolenses to Jesse, the family statement and video of his US Open interview with Jim Holley on my blog.
Someone posted a comment and pingback to their site. Luckily I checked it out before accepting and it linked to a video of Jesses crash.
Thankfully Youtube had taken it down and I trashed the pingback link as spam.
I was speechless, shocked and saddened that someone would want to promote a video of his accident at such a sensitive time for his family and friends.
Thankfully the many genuine messages of support from all the people on here and the moto community, restored my faith in the kindness of the human race.

Met Jesse when he was on 65s at E st beating older riders on 85's then as a 9 yr old...


Asked for his autograph that day in 2005; he was so cute writing out his name/number on the back of a paper tablet.


The tribute above again brings me to shed more tears after I found out last night that we lost that cute kid.


Deepest condolences and prayers to Jerry and his entire family and thank you for sharing your beautiful child Jesse with us in the motocross community and the world.


RIP Jesse Masterpool #956. He will be in our prayers always.

Sucks to hear about a young kid with such a bright future being called to a higher power by the Lord so early. But hey The Lord doesn't do things in haste and had a plan for Jesse.
