Toe, relax, you started that (and you know why I responded back then, or you did at the time) and I thought we agreed to forget it!

The amazing thing is no one really has any bad news. Everyone is arguing about things said or supposedly said that don't matter anymore. Did the situation turn out bad? Not really. The AMA got what it wanted in a strong partner (with money). the NPG gets a new boss. Everyone lived.

There IS a difference between what a writer writes for the record and what he says in private conversations over time. It's like you guys wanna bust the weatherman for putting "Storms outside town, 80% chance of rain" on a broadcast - then he calls his buddy and says "I'm not going riding, it's gonna rain." Then it doesn't rain. Then you guys go on the station's message board and call the weatherman a liar because he told his buddies "Its gonna rain." Duh.

I wonder what law practice would be like if FTE went "Hey judge, the plantiff's defense is lying, the defense council "thinks" the defendant is guilty...."

Leave it to a message board gang to get mad about good news (or at least news that isn't bad yet).

If can interrupt:

"I am too confused about what I thought I may have said, or may have not said and I am not sure what I meant, but I want it to be right, but cant figure out why no one believes me, but I hope I didnt piss anyone off and no one remembers that I hitched my wagon to the wrong team but maybe no one will remember if I keep saying its all good and that all that matters is global...."

Need anymore help, just let me know.

So the tentacles have been released???

In all seriousness Steve, I hope it works out for you. You can be an ass online as can everyone else, but that doesn't change the fact that you can take some great photos and conduct a decent interview......

I think I follow what you wrote in spite of the incoherence, but that's exactly what litigation is. That's not what I did. We're not litigating.

It's time to give it a rest from all sides and let things simmer down. Motorcycling and its future are for enjoyment.

My wife has said, "When you coming to bed, honey?" I reply, "Hang tight, I need to address something on MD."

She never understood when she first met me. I still don't know what drags me back here...I rarely keep up with the racing scene, I ride more than ever, though...but I think it's like a comfort food. Anyway, I'm sending her that drawing.

I miss them all. It all started with Lone Wolf and XMX on FD. I was sucked in from that point. Nothing will ever rival the pure drama that a good Florida man carries on Moto-boards.

Every now and then G-Man and Bobby will get into it...and I like both of them...and dollar for dollar...I can't find anything funnier than two grown men insulting each other. Fucking priceless.

The pre-MD, pre-Evil plan era.....

I worked at US Airways 3rd shift help desk. Bauer and I tag-teamed FD all night long and dreamed of dragging those weirdos out into the open somewhere else....nah....could never work..

The irony is GuyB's site turned out the sanest.

http://www.visualradio.com/whipit and MikeeeP’s Fresh Dirt column “back in the day” were good times and made you really feel like you were “in the know” because, relatively speaking, not many people were on the internet so you could impress your friends by knowing who won the race and other happenings in the MX world. MikeeeP always seemed like an okay guy who maybe just tried a little too hard to show he was an "insider," but I never understood why people hated him so much. Then he peeled a memorial sticker off some guy’s van and stuck it on his hat so he could look cool and I realized the people that hated him just knew him better. What kind of human being does that?

I've often longed for the day when you would ACTUALLY sack up & go riding with me but everyone knows that would never happen as you are too scared & it would bruise your massive ego. But I must admit you are the KING of spewing caca outa yo mouth! lol
