Yup. And the hot lap qualifying at Endurocross is a ton of fun too.
This, plus seeing some of the lesser known brands is super cool as well. Why not get ride of the stupid homoligation rule and let TM, Beta, Service Honda, etc get in on the action? That would be great for the bike market and bring more options to consumers, nothing bad about more bikes to choose from.

Barcia vs. Roczen looked promising.

SX has got the stale format blues, for shore. Multiple races are where it's at; the nature of supercross demands it.*

*The start of the race, which we know is so critical in cramped quarters, is, in all its chaos, very nearly a random event. Repeat a random event, get a different result. When a pitcher is warming up after a week off, it might take him a few throws to find the strike zone, You might get a few wild ones, but then you can expect the same throw...after throw. I think we can reckon SX is just the opposite.

I'm working on something extra saucy, post it up evench.

Maybe the fact most in 450 class have been around quite a while has something to do with it with other things mentioned.

Lots of ideas being tossed around. How about this idea, just change one thing. Make gate picks for the main event based on the riders current overall series points, with the points leader getting LAST gate pick in the main. The guy 2nd in points gets the second to last gate pick etc.. See how that could work ? Out of the 22 riders in the main the rider with the least amount of series points gets first gate pick, whoever is next in points gets 2nd gate pick, and on down the line and finally the points leader gets the last spot that no one else wanted . Obviously the first race would be "Normal" and based on laptimes/results in the heats and semis. But after that the points leader gets last gate pick, and on down the line. That would make things a lot more interesting without re-inventing the wheel.

Shit you think MA800 gets a lot of holeshots now... hahaha.

Yes - its excruciating to have to listin to the anouncers... even the afternoon anouncers - it make me puke that they must say some stupid name in front of a turn - jump - start / finish line....it is disgusting.
MONSTER RAMP - or the
MONSTER JUMP - or the MONSTER SWEEPER TURN.....or the...

and then the riders.....
DUNLAP TIRES - TIT-UM FOOTPEGS - HELIUM AIR FOR MY TIRES.....

I literally fell asleep during that last few broadcast "races".
I dont record them any more.... dont watch anymore - and I (dis)like the sport.

I went to A2 this year - I absolutely wish I had never spent the $70 x 2 admission =140, 4 beers x $11 = $44, 2 x hot dogs $22 = WONDERFUL TIME. =$210 FOR 2 people for 3 hours of "entertainment". I will never go to another SX race. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN. Oh, by the way - ITS not about the money.....Its about the value of the money spent.

But seriously, Clearly - it's not about me watching. It's about the people that (apparently) will spend money on the products.

May God Bless the spirit of Motocross. I don't see it (motocross) today.

I would love to hear Roger deCosters view on the Corporazation of the trasition from "MX" to "SX". (He is in the middle of all of this...)

This interview will never happen. (it seems) There is no hard reporting in Supercross..(maybe there is.....just never seen it).

(ie: Martin Davalos - (This is a TV thing) "He wont be here tonight because of personal issues" - Why no explanation of it on TV - just so stupid to not say he had visa issues. (I had to take 15 frickin seconds to find out why))

I just ask that the reporters - report the news of the sport, all of it. Blindly - without friends. You will have me back on the "MOTOCROSS" side of racing - PURE

first time in 15 years, I've actually stopped watching sx always used to have people around and get pumped to watch the sx every week.

now its just a snooze fest, racing is boring everyone just slaps each other on the back, no one takes anyone out attempting passes, no rivalries!

long gone are the CR JS 2009 days.....

I feel like it get boring and monotone pretty much every season after about 10 races. There is usually one guy that is better than everyone else(Dungey in this case) and runs away with the title. This year has been even worse since i predicted that it was over at round 5, Dungey is just so much better than everyone else in a 17 round series.

The 250 east series is pretty good though. And it has been really fun to watch Marvin prove the doubters wrong, especially a big part of the motomedia that has been underestimating him big time.

I honestly don't understand how anyone thinks dropping 450's would change anything. The results , and the way riders have been finishing would be the same no matter what they were riding.

You been paying attention to how many good 250f races there has been since they were introduced?!
Its not the fucking bikes already unless where bringing 2strokes back in which case none of the current crop are a accustom to anyway. The 250 class is doing great..the 450s not so much. people dominate from time to time ie..mc, rc,js but there polarizing figures always something happens, bad starts, bike fails and crashes..in rc and js cases due to riding faster than anyone to date. But they were all exciting...dungey isnt dominating necessarily but hes just so clean skinned and boring it tends to rub off on the series..like who hugs the competition after they beat you......gay

It has definitely been more exciting in the past but I wouldn't call it boring. Baseball is boring.

A lot of guys say the tracks are cookie cutter, boring, etc.. Anyone remember 1989 Miami SX? Total sand track! That race was exciting as Bradshaw on a 125 crashed multiple times but I think still came back to win the 125 main. It was awesome.

I'm pumped for the supercross season at A1...but by about this point, my enthusiasm starts to taper off. I don't think that has anything to do with the bikes or the riders, or the track design...it just means there is to many supercross races.

Dungey actually helps the MX season with his dominance in SX. More riders start testing for the MX season earlier so they are further ahead in bike settings/set up when it comes to the opening rounds, which makes the MX season more competitive and thus more exciting.Woohoo
