What im getting at feint is even with time off the bike the guy can still match the current fast guys times in a sprint ie practice but to think hed ride at 100 percent in his condition in the race format theres no way he just isnt race fit atm..id say his team and everyone around him made sure...

Um yeah sure...with practice times like he had after a few weeks off the bike and recovering from a heavy concussion..a few hundredths off the fastest time....yep retirement.

Coming back from concussion possibly but unlikely. ..healthy he surpasses that speed.
