No way. That was a situation where jmart had him well covered and coyld not pass because the track sucked so bad.....worst track ever.

It was a fuckin barnburner, and everyone had to ride the same track. Guess it's what you make of it. It might look bad on TV, but it was pretty decent seeing it live. Bummed for Mookie, but Martin earned that win, he just never quit.

This! The track was terrible and one lined... It looked deep but walking it after the race it really was not that deep... This isn't the Daytona we use to have

Yeah, after watching it on TV, it doesn't really show the excitement when it was live. I know everyone in my section was going nuts and were high fiving after the race. It was excellent real time...

Watching Hill out there got my heart racing. I love that guy, such a nice person, and then to see him slingshotting himself into that rhythm section by taking the outside line and switching shit up to avoid the freight train behind Malcolm Stewart... Pretty incredible. He's got some creative talent and a lot of courage to take that risk. Paid off for him in the end. Great race, despite the single line track. It is what you make of it apparently.

Martin CLEARLY faster than Stewart in every way just couldnt get around him.
Very frustrating to watch, hardly exciting.

Hell of a race , Stew got a bit gased , Jmart is a mini diesel, Hill almost had the pass and the win a couple times ! I think Stew felt flat this week , he looked great the last couple laps last week

Thread title should've read, "Finally a great 250 race".....nowhere Near the best 250 race ever!

Glad you enjoyed it...i had to suck it up on live timing and the highlite vids dont work here in south africa.

Reminded me of a F1 race at Monaco - clearly faster rider had no way to pass without a mistake from the rider in front of him. Very frustrating to watch.
