This is my all time favorite graphics. I would love a sick 125 again. Probably the 1 bike that I wanted that I never got was a yz 80 Growing up. I had a kawi, but man, I just loved those 80's.

1985 KX60. I miss all that old advertising from the 80's. So clean and simple. I would go to the shops with my dad and get every brochure. I looked at those pictures for hours. Probably spent equal time between those brochures and my dad's stash of Penthouse.

Having been around dirt bikes since the late 60's, I've been fortunate enough to have owned (some new), raced or ridden many of the bikes pictured in this thread. Not bragging, just as I look through the photos y'all have posted, it has been like a trip down memory lane. Still there are few that I've always wanted but never had or pursued the opportunity to have.

Here are my three wishes. One of them (YZ125), I'll get this summer or soon. The others will have to wait or remain a dream.

1969/1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross

Yamaha 650 Framer flattacker. Preferably a Champion frame.

2006 or later YZ-125.

In my opinion, one of the best looking engines ever made. As the center piece, your bobber should look really good. I like the forks you put on.

I drooled over Kehoe's works '87 bike that won the USGP for months on end:
The late great Donny Schmitt. Spelling? Was #401, that bike is a works 88 rm 125, with 88 rm 250 tank & shrouds, likely radiators also, no Rm 125 ever made production looking like this, the 89 model RM"s were completely different as far as plastic & styling. One of my favorite looking bikes.

You're right about Donny Schmit. I'm not sure where he would have ridden a works bike in 1988.. did he get the USGP nod that year?

The bike I'm talking about is about a quarter of the way down this page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/tblazier/sets/72157627813940509/with/8931…

My dream bike as a 10 year old

This was my first real race bike. Probably the most fun bike I ever had. I still think it's the sexiest bike ever built.

I need a bigger garage...and if there was a box of dollars on the bench, I'd buy that 701 next. Unless I got talked into some OTMX, then that FE450 might have to come first.

That's the one! 1980 yz 80. I had one as a kid and want another to make into a DG rocket. It has to be a 1980....

Well, his full factory one with inverts is available. Ti pipe, pegs and bolts, computer under the seat, start mode....could be yours all for the low low price of $15,000.00. Or so I heard. Looks race ready from the pics!

It is a 77 but I converted it to 80 model suspension and wheels so I guess it's a 77/80 Hybrid
