The lower one is a counterfeit. With the counterfeits, you might get a good one, you might get a bad one, there is little to no quality control on the fakes. You want the one with the bolt on top like shown in those pictures, goes by many names Short Body, AG, S, etc.... You don't want the PWK with...

I would call or email them to verify. I worked for a company that sold a product that was/ is highly counterfeited. We stopped updating what to look for because it seemed like the counterfeiters were using that for reference and would update. So we had things to look out for not listed.

Swapping the carb on that bike can be a little more challenging. That VM34SS were used on the mid 80's KX125, KDX200 and Tecate 250. They had a larger OD on the motor side than the other VM34's out there. That Kawasaki one was around 43mm and the rest of the VM34s are 40mm. Airbox side was the same 58mm...

I don't have the physical copies. I scanned them for Newmann (RIP) a few years back. They were my former employers, which is no longer in business. I would imagine they got trashed when they closed....

A few years ago I scanned a bunch of old Mugen instructions and ads. Like below. The slides for the PWK 36 and larger are the same. Some do have a little notch on the bottom which allows air in when the slide is closed, giving a leaner mixture at idle. The spec I gave is for the slide without the notch. The CEK needle you have is just 2 clip positions richer than the CGK...

We normally ran number 5 slides in the PWK36s as well as the PWK38s on the later model CR125s. That 1/8th throttle range is the slide. The spec we started with in the PWK 36 was a 52 slow, CGK needle, 175 main and 5 slide.
