What bike should i get?

Hello, im going back to motocross after years of the bike. Im looking to buy a fourstroke 250 or a fourstroke 450. I had a suzuki rm85 wich was supereasey to ride compared to other brands. I would like that same feeling, smooth and easy to go fast. The reason im saying 250 or 450 is that im not going to race yet, i just wanna get back to motocross and get the hang of it again. Pure fun!

Im looking between 2010-2014 models. What brand should i go for, any particular year that i must avoid`? What i am asking is: What is the best buy i can do?

Everyone hammers on the Suzuki, but it's a very good motorcycle. In addition, you can absolutely steal one.. Market is soft, and you should be able to pick up a very low hour one cheap.

Love my 15' for what it's worth.

Thanks, im probably going for suzuki. Anything i must have, cheap things that makes a differense is awesome, not gonna spend 2000 on some new suspension setup Tongue i have not been riding motocross in a long time, but i have been downhill racing so its not completely strange to get on a bike for me. I just want to progress fast and i have ALOT of time to get it going fast again, so i want the bike to be as good as possible Smile

I know its a bit older than you mentioned, but if (and you may not be able to) you could find a clean 09 YZ450...you would absolutely LOVE IT! Greatest forks on the market, easy manageable power, stable and planted feeling, dead reliable. AND it would be dirt cheap.

It's not fuel injected...but you won't care about that since you're just playing around for fun.

Yes i want to have fun, but fun for me means beating everyone on the track. So i want to know the best buy i can do to get the fastest bike for the money. I have a huge garage so i can take the bike a part whenever i want, so if some bike need more atention than another i dont care. I dont have the money to buy a brand new one.

Depends on your riding level and size....

450 the Kawasaki is pretty sick (ok I am biased), but then if you are a smaller guy the Honda/Suzuki would do you better

250 the Yamaha is top dog

Check out the shootouts here in Vital, they are the better ones around.

If you're trying to go fast, pick up a 125 for now. Get a 4 stroke next year

Look at a 12 or newer kx250f. Strong motors and pretty decent all round too. Also they are cheaper than the Yamaha, at least they are around my way
