I have never liked MXGP. The game just flows weird to me. It's like it is stuck in slow mo.

Stoked. Even for this early unfinished build, the rider and bike actually look like, well, what a rider on a bike would look like. Not super fast. Can't wait. Their last two MotoGP games have been what I've primarily played, these guys do good work and understand motorcycle racing.

Played quite a bit of the first one after an ACL surgery last year, really had fun with it. It's different from the MX vs ATV series and takes a bit of skill to figure out. I wouldn't put much coin in to things changing too much build wise between now and release, but like a lot of you I hope the physics come around. The lack of in air control was a major downside in the first one.

Bad move to have a demo of the game at a convention. They had to know someone would post a video of them playing the game that doesnt know what they are doing. Cant make any judgments on physics until someone that is good plays it. Visually the graphics are as good as it gets imo.

The speed of the game is realistic. The MVA games are way too fast, especially Supercross. Notice n the MXGP2 video he rarely gets out of 1st o 2nd gear. It's a newcomer playing it. No worries here.

I think it will be better than MXGP which is already, overall, the best thing out there for MX.

You are joking on the speed of the game right??????

I have NEVER seen RV go around a corner that slow unless its the sighting lap.

Milestone has licensing for MXGP. Which contains all tracks/teams/riders/sponsors involved.

I don't think motocross video games on consoles have gone in the right direction, they get more and more arcade-like with each game, despite trying to make them more realistic. Sure, the graphics may be improving, but the actual gameplay hasn't improved at all. I've had the most fun with games like the original MX Unleashed. MX vs ATV Unleashed was alright, and everything since then has been garbage if you want my 2 cents on it. I'm really glad MX Simulator is out there, because if it wasn't for that I'd say there isn't any good motocross games that have been released in the last decade.

The thing I'm most excited about for this game is it will be the FIRST TIME WE GET A 1:1 REPLICA OF GLEN HELEN!!!

How is it possible that in 20 years of MX gaming, this is the first time that that has happened?

Looks like the first game to me.

Before you turn on pro physics and get used to the physics model all you do is highside on corner entry over and over. Then you get used to using front and rear brake independently, braking early for a good corner apex/exit and everything starts to smooth itself out.

The methodology reminds me a lot of auto racing sims. That's probably why some don't like it. It takes patience and forward thinking. Not just WFO, tap the brakes, slide around a corner, WFO. Knowing the tracks beforehand helps also.

I know Glen Helen and all the national tracks are on Supercross Circuit and I believe it is on some of the Ricky Carmichael games.
I wish the people who made Supercross Circuit would make a modern game.

Glen Helen was in Supercross Circuit as well as MX2002, MX Superfly and Milestone's first MX game, MUD. However, none were 1 to 1 replicas. This year, with MXGP2, it will e a 1 to 1 replica. Super excited for that!!

Looks exactly the same to me.

These guys never fixed the problems with the first game...

I played online about 5 times before I could never get back on.

No thanks! Complete waste of time and money for me personally.

Way better than Reflex! I'll be happy to give them my money. Of course, Alive, MXvATV SX, and the first MXGP game were all better tthan Reflex too, so there's that... Smile

I am super pumped as well!!! This team understands Motocross and the correct speed, the correct scale, the importance of braking and throttle control, the importance of replica tracks, authenticity and licensing. Thank you, Milestone.

Pre-ordering day 1!!!!

was about to say this! third person does look a bit shit but first person rules

The only thing I didn't like was if I wasn't casing shit and bogging I was OJing shit and bogging and I couldn't really work out if it was slowing me down or if it was just the sound effect.. Anyway if I want this new game I'll have to buy a ps4 dunno if it's enough to bother.
Does anyone know of a good rally game on ps4? I'd get one then! I spent years on Dirt2 and 3

The guy explains in the video the reason why he is cornering so slow, its because he said that the cornering felt really "slippery".

He also said that he played the game for about 10 minutes before filming, it also took him that long to complete one lap, commenting that this version is more sim than arcade, but still has some bugs too fix.

I figured as much. You could tell he was tiptoeing thru the corners as he was trying to get used to it.

More sim than arcade? Yes!! And it looks like it is which is exactly what we want. Wish Rainbow would do the same.

Either way MXGP2 will be THE game this year. Can't wait!

Hey Crazy Crossers! The countdown has started: tune on @Everyeye & enjoy live streaming from 5:30 PM! #mxgpvideogame https://t.co/XpEsEmyq5b

The clever fuckers didn't say what time zone it is but I imagine it's central Europe seeing as Milestone is an Italian company.. Worth checking out though. I reckon they heard all the tears and fears and wanna show us someone actually decent playing it.
