It's an open bike technically–for competition world wide it's almost always gonna be a white plate right?

I have a 2004. Only released in Australia. It's actually left over YZ250 stock from 03 with full compliance added and sold in 04 as a WR250.

The shell itself - the plastic part.. that should be blue IMO. The rest of the bike's plastic is blue. The black headlight shell sticks out like a sore thumb.

That looks like a YZ that was modified into a "WR" afterwards by a third party.

This is a small spin off from the North American version. This one comes with black wheels, a basic headlight and enduro fender attachment. Haven't been able to confirm which forks are on there. I will be in the market in the next year for another trail bike, and I am leaning towards this over a KTM (which I already have one of)
Kudos to Yamaha!!
Here is the North American version. YZ250'X'

It says on the spec sheet in the pic... Air Oil Seperate forks. AOS, not SSS.

As a friend of mine form KYB would say, it's just a couple of letters... It has SSS then.

Grew up drooling over a lot of GNCC wr250s from that era.

I think it'd look better with a blue headlight shell too.

Why do you want that?

Shroud that covers the gas tank is a must. I'm sick of shredding my tank graphics after two rides. And it looks like shit. you replace and they bubble and look more like shit.

Get rid of the damn gas tank graphics. And if you don't run them the blue tank scratches, streaks and looks like...you guessed it, shit!!!

But I'd still buy one. :D Woohoo

I suck at lining up graphics properly so having two-piece tank-graphics is a pain, especially when I have to do it more often cause they bubble and fade quicker... It wouldn't keep me from buying the bike, it's just a pain in the ass

These are SSS. I have a 2005 YZ125, the last year before SSS.
The top tube changed where it meets the stanchion.
The forks on this bike have the newer top tube.
It would be bizarre for them to switch internals back to non-SSS now.
