Oh of coarse the week I'm at animal kingdom lodge for my birthday and anniversary Chad comes to Ftt. That triple is so fun. I'm in that Tom Parsons FTT video jumping the triple when the camera guy says "go Dave!". He is whipping it all over and I'm dead sailor over it. I jumped it first thing in the morning one day and hit mud on take off and thought I was done. I came up about ten feet short. I had time to look over at the flagger in the air and say oh noooo! I was sore but able to jump it the rest of the day no problem. Then at home I was hurting. I'm actually still feeling it though in my rotator and neck months later.
Rode 11 rides at Disney and only waited for two lines about 20 minutes each. It was excellent. Our view from our sweet is sick over looking the savannah. Vip is awesome because you get to go to a private top floor with 24/7 food and drinks at your disposal. Good times and a great week.

Took this kid out for his first club day, rode myself for the first time in three weeks and had three generations of my Family out on the rac track!

My old man, myself both raced the Vets class and my little man rode the 50cc Demo class.

Back home cleaned up two bikes, then a Pizza Smile turned the lap top on to a Facebook feed full of Rossi / Marquez posts.

Will now kick back and start updating the website ready for Monday morning.

This is A PERFECT day! Get to do it a couple times a year now as the old guy, but Aaryn, this is what moto is all about! As for us in TX today, just watched the beautiful rain come down for the second day--it never stopped! Tomorrow looks like a football day or something, no let-up in sight.

I put in a bunch of laps today with my two friends and our kids (17 and 20). Probably too many for my old ass, as I can barely move today.

Had some fun trail riding yesterday, now we're headed out to race todayCool . Haven't raced a moto raced a true moto race since I was on 85s so we'll see how it goes, I'm going to give 250b a try so we'll see how it goes.

It would be pretty damn awesome to rip next to Reed on a two stroke, but probably depressing to see what my YZ is capable ofLaughing !

They say it's 140'. I don't know about that but I will say my slow ass honda barely makes it pinned from the top of the down hill to the peak. I have never landed even half way down the landing so it is pretty big. I could be the oldest guy jumping it I heard. Lol

Ha. I have all of you beat. Today marks the 6th consecutive day I have been lying on the couch in the prone position with my right leg up due to a blood clot behind my right knee. Good times. Don't know how it formed. I can tell you it sucks.

Did a 80 mile group ride on my road bike.
Now it's time to hit the gym.
Riding with Reed is way cooler than road biking though :D

It has rained here in DFW 10" in the past three days. I cleaned the shop and simply sat afterward and stared at my son's two 65 sx and my rmz 450 and dreamed of what could have been.

Yes, it was sick. He took time to take photos with the local kids and was a good dude. I'm still buzzing all geeked out, I got to throw a look back and see Reedy catching me fast AF on his YZ250 2stroke. One of my better days on a bike ever!

Yes thank you. Never realized how often these things happen till you get one, but I always thought that blood clots occurred in sedentary/old people, but soon learned that this isn't the case at all. However the main goal now is to get the body to rid itself of the clot through medication while ensuring the clot doesn't break free and travel to my lungs-then this shit gets real, so the doctor has my full attention. My sister lives in Naples, FL. How far is this track from there? One thing about Florida, it is a BIG ass state, as I have come to realize through my many travels to this fine state.

Maybe only 2 more days to go before it stops raining for 1 day.

Man I am jealous!

I have had the opportunity to ride on the same track as a few pros: Justin Brayton, Gavin Faith, Teddy Maier and I think maybe once Mike and Jeff Alessi. I don't think I knew who they were at the time, just a couple of fast 85 riders.

When Justin came back to Fort Dodge years ago he put on a riding school. Unfortunately for him (fortunately for me) only two of us signed up for it. I got to spend the entire day with him and another local guy, Tracy Bachman, It was right up there with one of the best days of my life. It def pushed me into another level of comfort. It was like a switch turned on and I was confident in my abilities.

Everyone should get an experience like that.
