I want your 10 cent input as to what grinds your gears at the track. I personally hate it when people tell you how to set your bike up "lower your bars and you won't get arm pump" "the 3 finger chain rule makes your chain too loose"

I hate it after my motos when all I want to do is go back to the motorhome and chill but all these chicks come up and want me to sign their tits. There is a time and a place for that, but not in between motos.

Charging riders a gate fee, literally charging riders to watch the race they will be in

Nobody racing A class. Sandbagging for days

Riders coming off the track for one class practice then getting back in line for another one. Usually they are fast guys practicing with the D and C class then jumping into B and A practice so they can get a few more laps in.

When you are at the track on the weekend, and don't get the word they are about to water the track and get the sprinklers turned on while you are on the track.

People riding like assholes in the pits. I fucking hate it!!

People that go full retard on first lap of practice. They get behind you and bounce the rev limiter, scream. Throw their hand up. Do a shitty whip and look back at you. Nobody knows how to fucking chill in the first lap.

People that make race-passes in practice. Just relax you didn't have to squeeze into the pass or cross over some jump to do it.

Ever see how some people pull on or off of the track RIGHT AFTER A JUMP!?

Ever see the Genius Race-Parent of Coach that thinks it's "OK" for that little kid on the 50 to be OUT ON THE TRACK WITH THE BIGGER FASTER BIKES?
You know, the kid on the 50 that's barely getting around the track?

I've politely told people in BOTH situations about the "danger and responsibilities" & how I'm sooooo not interested in seeing the ambulance cart hem or the lil' kid off...
. It's usually the "Coach" that tries to tell me a thing or two...

I go straight to track mgmt.

"Hey, for the record, it will NOT be 'me' that's going to have a problem when someone get's landed on. I'd rather NOT se that happen, ya know?"
They usually remedy the situation.

8 hrs sitting around for 3 laps of practice and 2 five lap motos.

Very rarely race anymore. Either ride practice days or hare scrambles.

It really grinds my gears when I'm low on oil and don't use the clutch Tongue

Sandbaggers

Moto dads that scream at their kids to go do certain jumps when the freakin dad has no clue on how to ride the bike in the first place.

D riders that have a pro setup with 4 different bikes, a mod and stock 250, a practice bike and a mod 450

Quads

Cross jumpers

Young kids that try block passing or try taking out your front wheel in practice or on a practice day. Look kids I'm 6'2 and 205lbs, me coming back at you is like Bowers going after Webb. I suggest you stop! Wink

Only way to beat the sitting around all day is to try and run 3-4 classes. It's stupid but it's possible with all the freaking classes across the country

The C class heroes, not hating on the c class,I ride it myself, but the guy that acts like they have tons of sponsors and spends thousands on a new engine, suspension, and graphics and just sits around and pose on their bike when they are supposed to be riding practice, generally ride in the pits more than the track...drives me insane.

Oh,and crazy moto parents...

Kanye West and his stank wife.
Duana Dalgrenn
How upset idiots got over a dead lion
One wobbly wheel on a shopping cart.
People who think they need two parking spots.
The stench in WalMart.
When I pull off a lose piece of skin and it takes good skin with it.
RV fans.
2 stroke purest.
But the biggest thing that grinds my gears in when I chucked a mean deuce and the only thing to wipe with is thin rough toilet paper.

Now that I'm over 40....just about everything grinds my gears. Get off my lawn!

But yeah, sitting around all day for a few short motos. I raced some amatuer stuff in Europe a few years back and they had a lot fewer classes, which resulted in longer motos. That was fun.

I hate when I finally get a track all dialed in (it takes me a while at my age!) and they go and change the whole thing...

Also hate when I go to a new track and get two laps of muddy practice and then sitting on the gate for my first moto I realize I have no clue which way to turn at the end of the start straight let alone what to expect anywhere else on the track..

When you're rolling around your first lap on a practice day and some idiot on a 4 stroke comes behind you only to rev the shit out his bike, rather than just taking a different line... Grinning

riding wheelies, practicing "starts", or doing donuts in the pits...

Bro's playing death metal from their lifted truck...

"Pro practice" guys that can't pass worth a darn...

Ever notice how often those guys mysteriously end up in the fence? Especially at Glen Helen?

i ride a lot of single track up here and what bothers me the most is when i come across other guys on dirtbikes acting like total assholes, roosting in the corners, skidding, just generally ruining the trails. the trails are mixed use (horses, hikers, mtb) and there's nothing worse than some douchebag fucking it up for everyone else.

i liken it to the idiot at the track that does wheelies up and down the pits 20 feet from your vehicle and sprays dust and rocks everywhere.

- Long intermissions (let's just keep the program moving).

- $8K-plus MSRP for a motocross bike.

- Circus bikes (unless you are a pro and sponsored by a circus)

- Why in the eff does RC call those things "hoops" when everybody else in the universe calls them "whoops" ?!?!

Coming in from an exhausting moto to see all your buddies and they're family/friends has taken all your chairs and hogging all the room under your awning and not one single one offers to get out of your chair...pisses me off something fierce!

Hearing all the retarded hip hop music that most young people listen too...forces me to combat it by blaring Metallica, which gives me a sense of satisfaction by the way.

The politcaly correct attitude everyone at the track has when they try and tell me to turn down the metallica/Ozzy/motley crude/Judas priest..but sais nada to the booty music listeners blaring tupac/ shaqueefa/rontella/moeeshquee and all the other non talented retarded sounding music.

People that don't show respect during our singing of the national anthem

Hearing the BS excuses why they lost... my bike wasn't running rite, I hit a slower rider and went down, I got landed on got back up and immediately got landed on again...bla bla bla..

Practice day racers. If I caught you from a half a lap back don't try to race me when I try to pass you on a practice day! I'm not as fast on a track as I want to be therefore I want to practice during practice. I don't want you to cut me off when I go around you. It seems like some guys just don't get it.
