Barcia's attitude

Edited Date/Time 10/7/2015 4:40pm
When Team France enters the podium after the races, Barcia gives Paulin a hand. Not the obligate little handshake as often seen, but a real handshake with a great swing and a smile on his face.
I wasn't a Barcia fan, but this gesture of real sportsmanship made me change my mind.

He's one of my favorite, he's super passionate but is a really good dude. I'm always a sucker for the guy's that hang out with the kids and he will sit in the back of his pickup during testing and just get down with the kids… then when he see's them on the track he'll do a few laps with them. What a great thing to watch!

I've turned the corner on Barcia. He's matured without losing what makes him great on the track (slight disregard for public safety, and rev limiters...)

You could tell during the Nationals this year just how much his attitude has changed, it's nice to see him enjoying his time racing. He's certainly entertaining to watch ride.

Justin has a solid group of smart mature people around him. He appears to be a good listener/learner. He's gonna have a lot more fans in the future...count me as one.

A young kid grew up? No way?

All joking aside, we forget how young these kids are when they enter the 250f class and how young some of them still are when they get forced to the 450.

Barcia hasn't changed one bit as far as being a competitor---but he has matured. He seems to have a sense of self-awareness that is unique these days. And, importantly, Ben is a perfect match for JB. At least, that's my take-away from the cheap seats. Hope "The Beards" keep on doing their thing.

Justin stayed classy where he would have had all the reasons not to, he's "lost" (3/2/2) all MXdN he entered. He can be proud, he gave his all today...

The day of the last outdoor national i started a thread titled "I hope Barcia rides better at Ernee". I was disappointed in his riding that day but today i was beyond impressed. Disappointed we came in second but none of our riders left anything on the table. Proud of all 3 of them.

Some day France will learn what the Internet is and create their own message boards so we won't have to deal with their shitty attitudes. It's being developed right after they finish creating the shower.

If you can't see it's a backhanded compliment I'm not sure I can help you.

What other reason do you have to bring up past MXDN results of his. That along with your other posts paint a very clear picture. We get it.

Maybe he's not quite as psycho-analytic as you are. Maybe most of us aren't. I'm with Motoxdoc.

Barcia made me a fan today. Genuine good human being that just happens to fast as hell on a dirt bike also.

Technically that was the USA Team placement. Barcia in two of the three MXdN has Class Open: 1st, and now Class MX1: 1st

Anywho: fantastic racing today and Barcia made a huge contribution to that. I like his style too.

You can play victim all you want, but it was strange to bring up past results when he has finished where he has at the MXDN's he's competed in.

It's like saying Everts was unsuccessful when he had overall wins at the MXDN.
